Replacement pre-cups are meant to be installed and machined in place with a head surfacer. You will need them installed by a competent machine shop.

To elaborate further. Your heads need a valve job, period. Also, the pre-cup sockets in the heads will need to be completely cleaned from all carbon and deposits before the new ones are installed. This can be done at a machine shop by proper cleaning methods such as hot-tank and bead blasting.

Nothing yet but in a week or so I will get the new Precups done hopefully. Been slow progressing as of late since unfortunately my friend is not being helpful when I need parts picked up. I'm going quietly crazy not being able to fire up & listen to the old Diesel run.

Just buy new heads

Buying new heads would cost $1200 VS what I did cost $200.

Was this a turbo kit or you sourced all the stuff yourself?

Not sure if your comment really pertains to this video or not. But to answer your question it wasn't a kit. All parts were gotten individually to create the full setup.
