Hey good work. However, you didn't do the last task, which is to verify connectivity btw PCs and Outside host. Had you done that, you would notice that pings would fail. The problem is at 3:48, where you forgot to use the command #switchport trunk allowed vlan 10,20,30,88 on interface g0/1. OTherwise, thank you for your videos, you're doing a nice job!!

hola chris, estoy repasando y hay algo que no estoy entendiendo. en este intergration challenge dice que Configure the primary path through the Serial 0/1/0 interface Configure the backup route through the Serial 0/1/1 interface with a 10 AD. Configure directly attached primary and backup summary routes on ISP for the entire 172.31.0.0/17 address space Configure the primary path through the Serial 0/1/1 interface configure the backup route through the Serial 0/1/0 interface with 25 AD. (osea opuestas al router Hq) entonces lo que quiero entender es que path los routeres van a decidir tomar ? porque? en el HQ el 0/1/0 es el primario y el 0/1/1 es el secundario pero desde el ISP el 0/1/1 es el primario y el 0/1/0 es el secundario como se comportan los routers cuando esto se aplica? tambien hice tracert desde las pcs y todos toman el route de s0/1/0 con AD de 25. MENOS el outside host.

no te preocupes solo recuerda que cuando no usas la AD, por defecto se usa la 1, por ello es preferida, 1 es preferidaantes que 10 o 25, también recuerda que si usa un camino de ida no necesariamente usará el mismo camino de vuelta

For some reason i cant put the default route on R1....I type R1(config)# ip route 0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0 s0/0/0 but for some reason it says there is an invalid input detected in the first 0....thats all i need to get a 100 but i dont know what im doing wrong...i followed all your steps

¿Por que la ruta sumarizada tiene mascara /17?

Debes usar una nueva máscara que indica el número de bits hsata donde son iguales las dos direcciones sumarizadas o resumidas, aquí el video kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHrQqoavjL51gbs
