That looks sick man. I watched the whole entire vid. You did a nice thurough job, and payed good attention to detail. That s467 looks dope mounted up high light that on a secound gen manifold. It fills that area on a 6.7 that would normally be filled with emissions garbage, and then they stuff the little vgt Barbie turbi down and under. Vgt's are junk. Everyone always raves about how cool they sound, and the 'exhaust brake' is so nice when towing. lol well if you had a real man's trans instead of a slush box... All the moving parts in the vgt, just more little actuators and electronic parts and sensors to go bad and leave you stuck in limp mode out in the sticks. Diesel emissions are a joke, it was never made to eat its own a$$. Even when people delete the 6.7's they always fail to get rid of all the coolant line jumbled mess of hoses and what's that thingie, the 'coolant stand pipe?'. I seen a company that makes a delete for all that crap, and cleans that area up. I'm always a big fan of deleting and throwing in the trash anything that's clutter and not important or being used, or inefficient, obsolete, or useless. Clean simple and uncluttered. Like on my '02 24v HO 6 speed. Removing and deleting all the factory fuel filter housing, bracket, and stock Carter lift pump freed up so much space and cleaned up the side of the motor, you can get to the starter from the top side if you didn't want to lay on the ground. Heh. The 6.7's you guys gotta buy the 'fuel return block' that several companies make or get the china Knock cheapie clone off of Temu, heh. The Wabasto set up you got. Is it worth it? The way you got it plumbed it cir's heated coolant to the in cab heater core and the block? Thats a good idea to have warm heated coolant always flowing to inside the cab and preheating it. I'm in Colorado. I installed an additional block heater in the rear of the block in addition to the oe block heater up front. Dual battery blanket heaters, and an oil pan heater. On The FasS I did the optional 'dual probe heater' plug and play add on. When it hits -30 in Gunnison CO it's no joke! Haha. Maybe I should look into a wabasto.

Webasto for sure. Huge game changer. Eliminates cold starts and have heat in the cab already.

Did you buy the Bd exhaust brake yet? I’m wondering if I want to get for my 2nd gen swap as well
@thekanemadness114 күн бұрын
Not yet. The BD one is up to 2017 and my truck is a 2018. I am unsure what the difference is. I emailed BD and they said they were testing the newer model ones. Not sure if they made an error and meant the 5th gen platform….but I want to be sure before purchasing. Regardless plan is to add an exhaust brake still!

how did you block off the top of the coolant tank where the line is removed next to the turbo?
@thekanemadness12 ай бұрын
Bought a 3/8” hose nipple and installed onto the reservoir.

Did the Phillips Fab kit come with everything you needed to do this upgrade?
@thekanemadness124 күн бұрын
Depending what you all ask him for. He can supply pretty much everything. There was a few plugs I supplied myself for removing the coolant riser.

You going to go with an exhaust brake?? Only other thing I would want if I had a 2nd gen kit!!!
@thekanemadness14 ай бұрын
One thing I miss. Being manual helps. But I am thinking of the BD inline kit. Need to read up and research on them more. I like the plug and play option with em

Stock fuel? Headstuds? Can you list all the current mods you have looking of doing the same but scared i might blow the head gasket
@thekanemadness13 ай бұрын
Currently I have headstuds, fleece in-tank fuel pump upgrade, the boost pipes and intake horn. Looking at heavier valve springs and push tube next. Then bigger injectors. Right now it is stock fuel.
