I love the idea that this person explains everything like each of us would be completely idiots. After all, he always gives us few examples, what is FREAKING GREAT. thank you! I guess wou would be the reason why I pass my exam of operating systems in college.

1. The size of a page and a frame is equal. Frames are present in MM and pages are in SM. 2. Page table is a data structure, not a hardware resource. 3. Every process has its own independent page table associated with it. 4. The number of indexes/slots/entries in a page table is equal to the number of pages a process has in the SM. 5. The page table cell contains the base address of the frame where the particular page is located. 5. PTBR contains the base address of the page table, and PTBR is stored in the PCB. 6. PT can be treated as metadata. 7. Paging is a fixed-size partitioning scheme and it may suffer from internal fragmentation. 8. The page table is also stored in MM, so the instruction access time is double.

First thing Why would Cpu generates addresses of secondary memory? I think CPU generates only addresses which the MMU will use to add with the relocation register. Second, why would each process need an independent indexing table as a table can be actually used with multiple processes? Third, You are helping me a lot, thanks for that...
