Hello I have what I think to be a simple ?. I'm a reseller so I buy things from Goodwill to resell . Say for 10$. Now sometimes that item will not sell. When I donate that same item back to the goodwill . Is that a tax deduction ? For 10$. Just as if I gave them 10$. I have the receipt showing that I paid the 10$. To establish the fair market value of said item. Please help me prove my friend wrong or me that's good to. Thanks in advance
