Funny you mentioned the Continental GT. Saw my neighbor had one parked outside his house the other day. Said to myself he either has plenty of cash or these things have depreciated a lot. Then while out working I began to see them all over the place. It reminded my of the Porshe era a couple years ago where everyone was driving one because of the lockdown and cheaper prices.

I think the lexus RCF should be considered a Grand tourer, not the fastest compared to your list, but i think its pretty good as a v8 daily driver. I think they go around 28-32k at the lowest? So i dont thnk it makes ur list though

Great vid JB. Never thought I'd say this, but if I had to buy one of these, I'd buy that utterly vulgar Bentley GT. Something wonderfully Buckhurst Hill-y about them. I'd guess the Granturismo sounds the best, the M6 drives the best, and the XKR looks the best... but that GT is so puffed-up and decadent. Why does the thought of a used Bentley bankrupting me, lure me in even more???😆

Lots of lovely motors but I'm glad I bought my SLK55 AMG. Five years on and it's worth more than I paid for it. Not only that but it's a pleasure to drive and - forgive me if I'm wrong - but 0-60mph at 4.3s and a top speed of about 185mph it's quicker than all of the cars on your list. A 2005 model, it has F1 pedigree, being the safety car in that year. And it's a proper sleeper.

I have been buying jags for 20 years and if you buy them around 5 years old and keep them to age ten they are a super value car The 2014 i have now i am keeping for two more years after that i am going to LC 500 lexus free warranty if serviced via dealership

Conti GT vs 996 C4S for KZbin is an easy decision - Number 27 just bought a Conti so that's covered. I still reckon a Venturi Atlantique would be better, if only any existed 😄 I feel like the DB7 is aging really well, I wonder how long until it gets classic status. Probably a while considering the whole XK thing, which is a shame. The later XK is lovely, if only it came with an engine that didn't drink so much.

6:53 I think you you are talking about williams not sauber even though bmw was invovled with sauber that happened in the late 2000s this car came out when bmw was with williams not sauber and plus the v10 had been ditched in favor of the v8 in 2007 so by the time sauber and bmw started to work togther it was v8 not a v10.

Two big reasons these cars are so cheap used. First the guys that buy them. Im older and see that sucessful men my age, about 75, who have done very well, just dont care anymore and say I want it and then buy it. So the car was overpriced to begin with. Then second. These cars are ludicrously expensive to upkeep and repair and when it looks like the writing is on the wall they sell them before big items need replacement. Also too. Twenty thousand dollar brake jobs bring big anxiety to them especially if they have to do this twice. LOL . Me? I came across A Tesla Model S, four years old. It had been in an accident but I could see it was tracking well and looked clean so I bought it. Best purchase I ever made. Its the future now and I love driving it. Unbelievably quick off the line and glued to the road. Paid 40K and it had 18K miles!!! Still have it and will keep it. Has real regen braking and its a ton of fun driving with one pedal. And the brakes, brembo of course, wont wear out.

@@lucky889s9 I've owned an E63 630i LCI for 13 years and it has been fairly reliable. The design is polarizing: a friend of mine said it was gorgeous, others say it's ugly. I really like the looks and the way it drives.

@@zsb707 maybe you the lucky one. All the Bangle era is not only hideous, their poor reliability is well known. There's a reason the price of used one is worse than the previous model. And there's a reason Bangle was out of there not too long after, even giving up designing cars

Get the 996, you won't regret it. Grossly undervalued and with most of the problems now ironed out you can't go wrong. The Bentley is just plain ugly.

McLaren GT is terrible car, very poorly made with cheap materials and it shows if driven daily, a close friend had one and nearly rattled to bits, terrible electrics and when he got rid of it there was a significant noise coming from the front of the motor. The car must have been built on a monday !
