Curious...how far of a drive are you from the nearest shopping for provisions??

Not far at all just 5km to the supermarkets and shops in our local village and 20mins drive to a bigger city with all the larger shops, clothing and restaurants and bars etc we are also just 10mins drive from the seaside with lots of small islands to explore. The location we are in is fantastic, it’s very quiet and secluded but not isolated. In spring/summer/ autumn the area is very popular for its natural beauty as it’s a unesco world heritage area 😄 Sweden is such a large country you can easily find a nice well connected patch of nature that hasn’t been overrun.

I love your new home but am I the only one noticing that you do all the hard work , surely what man would let there partner dig snow mess about with old wood trying to create order in your life , while he dosnt get his hands dirty and sorts through old books 😢

Thanks 😊 but I don’t think that’s a very accurate assessment. In the previous video Martin carried and installed a 100kg wood stove basically by himself and prior episode demolished almost all the old interiors on the guest cabin. Not to mention digging 150meters of snow to clear a path to our cottage, hauling water from the lake and doing all the driving. Maybe you’re not watching the full videos? Also I ( Ebonie) love manual labor and wanted to clear the wood store for my own personal gratification. We work on things we want too and support each others rest time. Plus I’d never force someone to do something I wanted done because I’m a female. That’s not how I roll 😎
