Good day! I'm planning to have my master's in sweden, my credentials are that of an average student and oh I am a fresher. I am nervous as to not get accepted for my application. Any thoughts? Im from the philippines btw
@StudyinSwedenOfficial5 жыл бұрын
Hello Kevin! There are a lot of factors to consider for a student to be accepted and one of which is your credential. These screenings are done by Swedish universities to ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to study in Sweden. All you can do at this point is hope for the best :D Lycka till! / Good luck /Reuben

Is it easy to apply for employment in Hotels in Sweden as an expat?
@Bluna64824 жыл бұрын
I'm concerned about the cashless society. I have read somewhere that people who are staying less than a year in sweden are not allowed to open a bank account. Is this true? are the students who only spend 10 months or less in sweden struggle with the additional fees they have to pay because the only credit card they can use is from their home country and they have to pay additional fees in every transaction? For example, my country does not allow me to pay in swedish krona, so the swedish krona will be converted to US dollars and then converted again to my country's currency. are there also money exchanger just in case of emergencies?

Only very few establishments do not accept cash.

Hello Bianca, there are a few banks that allows student to have their Swedish bank account such as ICA bank. For students who are going to study for a year are given a coordination number which is similar to personal number which you can use for applying for a Swedish bank account. /Reuben

I have plans for 2020 sep intake ,can we meet our tuition fee from part time work
@StudyinSwedenOfficial5 жыл бұрын
Hey Jubin, I believe it would be difficult to cover the tuition fee with a part-time job. Students who are liable to pay the tuition fee are required to show proof of payment or scholarship in order to be accepted in a Swedish university. Hope this helps! /Reuben

Hi how are u? I was thinking in doing a master in Sweden , what do you advise me? how difficult is to enter in a university there? , I want to do a master in some engineering area and I have afraid of not pass the exam of admission because Im not that good , which universities are more easy to enter?
@StudyinSwedenOfficial4 жыл бұрын
Hi Maria, I cannot give you a definite answer regarding your question as every university here in Sweden has its own way of assessing every applicant. However, it is essential to take note of the requirements provided by each program and try to evaluate yourself if the requirements fit your credentials. In that way, you are increasing your chance of being admitted to a Swedish university. Good luck!
