Omg 1:42 look at the state of the Carnial Conquest, so much rust along the side of the ship. Carnival certainly won’t have their ships last 40 years with this level of care!

Carnival has 25-29 ships guys, they take care of it once in a while, goes with any ship, like RCL and MSC...I am not sure how many dry docks they’re in Florida but yea... (However, carnival 1990-2005 ships are bad and 2009-now ships are better)

Anthony Hui the rusting is just what happens over not a lot of time, so it’s important it’s kept on top of. I’ve been on many cruises and nearly all of them took the opportunity to have their hulls repainted and spruced up while in port during the cruise, saw them doing it while on the tender back onto the ship. It’s just basic maintenance. So what’s happening with the conquest is just a total lack of care and pride. Look at the empress of the seas in comparison. It’s 13 years older (1989) but still looks immaculate! RC have huge ships (and a huge number of ships as well just like carnival) but you never see this level of decay on theirs. So it’s definitely carnival and their cowboys.

Thanks for your wonderful videos! I can start watching them again as I stopped grieving my not being able to cruise due the pandemic. Plus, my family lost our Florida rental - also the meeting place for cruising if needed. I will be taking a cruise from Montreal to enjoy the St-Lawrence river at some point this summer. I am very excited about that!

Brian just look at the Empress of the Seas compared to the Conquest. The Empress is the oldest in RCCL fleet and still looks newer than a mid-class Carnival ship lol

Any ships for carnival is gonna fall to rust from the mess of maintain costs that have been allocated else where at this point the high up people in the company just smell profit instead of keeping there ships looking decent and relying to heavily on dry docks I love carnival but I hate seeing the ships in that state....
