hello everyone! happy upcoming lunar new year’s and valentine’s day! ❣️🧧 today i have 6 cute and easy 5 minute chinese inspired hairstyles. these are the perfect blend between traditional and modern chinese styles and are perfect to be worn with qipao or even casual hanfu! i hope you enjoyed this video and have a wonderful and safe LNY!!! i’m very excited to celebrate! i’m going to wear my new qipao and eat a lot of food with a full face of makeup and then play genshin impact for 6 hours lolol
also originally i wanted to include some requests for hairstyles inspired by characters like xie lian from tian guan xi fu, but those looks didn’t really fit in the overall video. so maybe another anime or game inspired hairstyle tutorial is due soon? 😳 anyway next week’s video is going to be a VERY dramatic hair color transformation. i actually can’t wait to share with you guys… it’s sooo ridiculous how cute it turned out 😩 here’s a little hint… 💗💚

I feel the same way, being adopted and then growing up in America I never got to really get to know my culture and heritage. Not to mention the fact that China gets more bad rep than good it made me want to disconnect with that part of me. I’m finally trying to get reconnected but sadly every time I see negativity towards China and/or Chinese people, it makes me wonder if I should even try to reconnect.

Love it as always. I'm a black girl with long color-treated curly hair, so I like recreated styles with my curls. Also I miss your salon videos. They are always relaxing and informative to watch. Right now I'm in the fading and grown out roots phase, since I have curls we like to wait until I'm at least five months post before a re-touch. But I am in the salon every 3 weeks for treatments. So the salon to me is just a relaxing time, and I love to see others pampering themselves as well. Would love to see the process of your new color.
