Love this video and how you go through a lot. I just ordered a carbon fiber proof research barrel in 300 win mag for my dream hunting pew. Keep up the great work.

Just curious... If you don't have an annealing machine is using a propane torch and drill an effective way to anneal your brass on a budget or is that going to create problems??? Great video by the way keepem coming brother!!!

It's an interesting cartridge. Since I already started down the 6mm CM, I'm not sure I'll get around to trying it. There was a commenter on another channel advocating for it in the AR15 platform, and he thought I was silly for questioning that combo.

The primal rights kit work very well but they only work with 10rd mags. If you want a 12rd option, the MDT BR mags are another good option.

My guess is the 6 Dascher has less recoil and better barrel life than the 6creed, I heard the 6GT is also a good choice for barrel life and it is almost as fast as the 6creed with less powder. Good luck with it. sounds like your on something good.

I see you gave it a little spin when resizing what are your thoughts on doing that when bullet seating? I watched a David tubbs video a while back, he mentioned seating the bullet a little at a time and spinning it a little as you go. I do it out of habit now but I can’t say I’ve ever noticed a difference in concentricity...?

Hey X-Ring, just wondering if you did a “barrel break in” before shooting those awesome groups? Just wanted to see if barrel break ins are a necessary evil to achieve accuracy right “out of the box.” Thanks for the vid!

Most guys don't do break-in and with a quality lapped barrels like proof, Bartlein, Hawkhill, and Krieger it's not really necessary. Most guys will just run a wet patch followed by a few dry patches to clear out cutting oils and metal chips before firing. There is a burn in period though. After ~200rds or so the barrel will start shooting faster, also called speeding up. I've seen my velocity jump up almost 100fps before at ~200rd mark. Most people won't do full load development till their barrel speeds up. Hope this helps
