Thank you for your presentation with your photo walk in NYC . You provide a different approach in that you use film and by visual representation you demonstrate the art of photography. Today with the development of digital and computational technology with camera , software we lost our roots in film . Film makes you slow down contemplate , study before you press the shutter button. I must “ Confess “ when photography was heading digital I sold off my film cameras .. Do I miss my Nikon FE , Canon A1 … maybe it’s time to rethink and purchase a good used Nikon FE . Once again THANK YOU for your hard work and your message … I am now a subscriber ! Best wishes

I couldn’t agree more, and it is exactly those moments where you slow down and capture that I hope to celebrate through this channel. I’m glad it’s inspired you to potentially pick film photography back up again. So glad to have you along for the adventure, and thank you for watching!!

1:31 Photos taken with a Widelux are undeniably beautiful, but what truly amazed me is your color grading in videos. This style, so perfectly close to the look of Fujifilm, is utterly captivating. May I ask what your color grading settings are?
@femigod9 күн бұрын
Aww thank you- it’s actually really easy, I use the film convert plugin and just dial in the settings to match whatever film stock I’m shooting as close as possible. But film convert does most of the work

A 20-minute-long video from Lau? Hell yes! I loved it. I just recently got my Kodak Gold 200 film for my Pentax K1000, and I’m so excited to start using it! What do you think were the reasons behind the underexposed images on Halloween, considering it was ISO 800? This question really intrigues me! Thank you so much. I loved this video with all my heart.
@femigodАй бұрын
Awww that’s so awesome I’m so excited for you!! And that’s a great question, I was wondering that myself. I rented this widelux and I was wondering if maybe the aperture was stuck stopped down/at a slower speed. I also think the streets may have been a bit darker than I anticipated.

I like the Widelux images. Jeff Bridges can take Jeff Bridges shots. You take yours. It was a bold choice to shoot slide film, given the F7’s limited shutter speeds. Did you end up with any Provia shots that were unusably over or under exposed?

Aww I appreciate that. And yeah definitely! Nothing too crazy but I did get a few that were a little too over for my liking. But most of it came out pretty decent!

@femigodАй бұрын
Super interesting- what do you like best about the Noblex??
@klartext2225Ай бұрын
At 1:50 it is already clear for me: you don't get it! First: Jeff Bridges always shot B/W with his Widelux. Being CLOSE to the action on his film sets. I saw lots of his work in PREMIERE movie magazine, back in the 2000s. A panorama from the Staten Island Ferry with this camera is nothing but boring. Especially when tilted, resulting in a curved horizon.

You clearly missed the point of this video if that’s your takeaway.
