Now that you have a refrigeration unit are you finding that there’s less condensation? I mean that’s the actual function of the unit. And might they “need” moisture/water at some point?

I’ve been warned about that, but I have not experienced that yet at all. The RH is relative to the temperature but even so, 65% RH inside at 2-4C while running seems to allow droplets within. Not overly wet but stil, the RH within the cluster is still holding steady at around 85% pretty easy

Ian watch the ice I'd rather not see ya fall, you don't bounce as well as you use to. That'll up the energy bill, I hear North Pole Winter is gona show up in a week or two. I saw a story about how beekeepers use to move their colonies into the vegetable root sellers, seems we find news ways of preforming old techniques. Thanks for staring Ian, Happy New Year.

I look at all the bees in the snowbank around my hives and it upsets me every time . BUT its normal some bees die during the long winters

As to the wind on the building affecting air exchange and CO2 levels. It seems likely that whether the wind is on the intake side of the building or the outtake side would have a big affect CO2 levels. Something to consider looking out for this winter.

Seems like the cooling system has lowered your stress level. Grand to see. Do you have any idea yet how the coolers have effected your electrical bill (percentage wise)? Hope to see you in Wisconsin.

Definitely has increased cost but I’m not running the motors continuously, only at mild periods
