Thank you so much for stopping by my channel!!!
This video is showing you 6 different types of crochet knots that can be used to get your desired look when installing your crochet braids. If you are a beginner, this video is for you. If you are experienced this is also the video for you.
None of these methods are of my own design. There are knots commonly used and some that another KZbinr created. I will link her information below. (Puate)
I used these methods when trying to achieve certain looks. And all knots shown can be used on braidless and braided crochet methods. The hair I used in the video was Marley hair.
Please check out my other videos and I hope you will stick around and subscribe.
I have so much more to share with you!
Thank you so much for all your support.

This is probably one the most useful videos on crochet braiding on KZbin. ❤ It's like a Swiss Army knife of knots! 😍🙌 I had been procrastinating starting my crochet (2nd one ever) because I knew wanted knotless crochet for some rows but couldn't figure out how to do both sides but now I do. 😍 Thank you for your video! 🙇‍♀️🙌🙇‍♀️🙌 💕❤️

Thank you for doing this simple, and precise video, because I've been doing it all wrong....😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤ lol, and now I'm about to do a few heads for free with the hair for practice on different styles.... hey, when braiding the hair, is there a certain way to do it for like a bob style, or an A symmetrical type look, etc?? Also, one more question 😂😂😂😂 the ends of the braids, is it better to connect them and then tuck them, or bobby pinning them up?? Thank you in advance for your reply
@ShayLuvHair
@ShayLuvHair Жыл бұрын
Hey! Thank you so much for watching! A bob, u want to be sure u have a perimeter braid at the nap. This allows the hair to be installed more evenly so you have more control over the cut. Also make sure to secure ur knots when doing short styles. The hair unravels quicker when the strand doesn’t have a-lot of weight. The ends, it honestly depends. If your client has normal to thin hair, connecting is fine, but exclude this method if your client is tender headed. Use the tucking method if they are tender headed or have thicker hair. (I have a video that came out this week to help with that method). Never ever use bobby pins in an install. For sooo many reasons. I hope this helps ❤️

Hello; I’m a new subscriber who likes to do crochet both on myself and my daughter. The”newer” methods by Puate- thank you for sharing them. The only issue is , how the heck do you remove them without cutting your hair? At least with the common methods, you see the knots that are easily distinguishable. If you find an easy way to remove them, please share. Thanks
@ShayLuvHair
@ShayLuvHair 5 жыл бұрын
I will definitely put that down on my list of videos to do. But in a synopsis, once you cut the length of the crochet hair off, begin to unbraid your cornrows and the rest will come out as you unbraid. I hope this helps. 💜

I am so sorry I didn't list this info. This video was years ago and I don't remember. It was random hair I had left in my closet.

Not loose. But not so tight that they hurt. It’s okay being new. That’s what this channel is for. 💜💜
