The first Announcement for this game on DC Fandome was so well received, but then we heard nothing for so long… it kept getting delayed, then we were drip fed details about it being a looter shooter which most people don’t enjoy, and then the story leaks came out which turned out to be true, then we found out Arkham Rocksteady legends were leaving the studio. The game unfortunately snowballed into completely negative press and the videos I see gaining the most traction on KZbin are all trash talking the game.

Sefton Hill & Jamie Walker left the company in 2022. This is what hurt the game the most. They worked for the studio for 20 yrs. This isn't the same rocksteady team who made some of the best games to ever exist. It's a whole new team with totally different views. Plus it is essentially a mobile game with ps5 graphics. Every mobile game forces players to hit pay walls often. Just like this game.

Yes, it could very well be possible that the game is over, permanently, after Season 5. But, that could just mean that the main story they've worked on, leading up to the defeat of the 13 Brainiacs could be ending. And then we get more seasonal content after with more stories. I'm gonna hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

But at least the story will have a ending. Will not be like avengers that they didn't even finished the story. Of course I would like to have more stuff but having the true ending, disabling the online requirement, will be cool too. I can keep playing the game and that's it. Because let's be honest people didn't like THE GAME. Because the controls are cool, graphics are nice, but the story didn't get a good reception. Many people didn't want to play as SS. And then the game came out with some problems (people can't play with friends, spoiler ending scene at the beginning of the game, some not being able to progress on the mastery level, twitch stuff not being delivered to the inventory, etc). They fixed I guess everything. But the damage was done. I love SS, the characters, I don't mind playing joker with the batman's handmade outfit, I even loved the 2014 SS movie so you can see how crazy about this shit I'm. But I have to recognize the amount of technical issues this game had, just because they wanted to be a multiplayer. So having the true ending for this game, for me will be a victory.

It's such a shame that we (probably) aren't getting any of the other planned characters. However, I think Rocksteady should have made better character release choices. Deathstroke, Katana, Black Manta, Gorilla Grodd would've been an A-tier lineup for seasons 1-4. Joker is my favorite character in terms of gameplay, and I'm sure Mrs. Freeze and Lawless will be fun to play too, but they're aren't exactly gonna win a ton of people over.

Honestly agreed I personally will enjoy lawless and especially freeze do to her traversal but they aren’t exactly well known with lawless being almost completely original and freeze will just have people complaint about gender swaps even though it’s a multiverse variant. Might’ve been smarter to do them in year 2 but who knows I’d have ign charcters like grodd and manta replacing them for year one would’ve helped at least deathstroke was early on enough to still come

Honestly, seeing the leaks now and hearing that they are going to end the game in season 5 just makes me sad. Like a part of me, I feel like I wasted my money on this game (which I really love) just for it to end next year. It's honestly crazy to me. Maybe they could find a way to make it 12 seasons or something. I also feel bad for you because it's like they've signed the death warrant for your channel because SSKTJ is what boosted yiur views and what ulmately made me find your channel, if the day come that the game ends I will still watch your videos bro (for Superhero related content of course) also thank God they are increasing the battle pass points you earn per mission I'm tired of the slow grind. Every day, it gets harder to defend this game. I mostly love it because of the developers and the fact that I grew up playing all their games. Hopefully, when they do end this whole story, it will birth more single-player games like arkham, potentially making use of the other JL members. I wouldn't mind a single-player game with any of these justice league members. Rocksteady should while I appreciate them trying new things with the live service game, stick to the single player experience when it comes to super hero games because we all know that, that is what they're do good at and we respect them for it. Like Avengers before, SS can’t afford a slow drip of content that doesn’t generate excitement. Every character needs to be a blockbuster fan favorite (other than Deathstroke, I’m not sure any of the upcoming characters have much drawing power), and something so many live services need to understand is, costumes are not “content”.

Yes at the end of the day this is a SUICIDE SQUAD GAME just in the arkham universe, once players accept that it's not a bad game at all, they have added alot since launch and the gameplay is soild, just need to add more missions variations and can't wait for my squad members to play with

I know apparently they planed now to possibly end at season 5 but hopefully the game will get a resurgence. The game only needs to make money to recouperate the cost and some more. I think WB wanting to do live service games would decide to continue the game if it is making money. Some games might need a smaller player base. Also they should put the game on game pass and all during summer break as that would be good timing. Also I think the season 5 is worst case Demario where they are losing money as if it makes any just continue for the full story stuff. It would make sense and also just be good for future revenue. Also imagine if after they stop the game gets so popular and they go back to it. Well I know people complain about restiveness so I’d say make a few more types and in more locations. Also more gimicky enemies to go along with it. Also there should be race missions as the traversal is one of the best parts and I think races with captain boomerang would never get old.

I love this game and understand the frustration...the dude was just trying to help, but revealing unreleased content that people aren't supposed to see yet is still not acceptable wether you love the game or not the cold truth is these are corporations and if you don't play ball you will be treated accordingly to their contract they make you agree to WB did nothing wrong it could've been worse for this guy he could've been banned but honestly he got off lightly and I understand he was just trying to help but like they say sometimes it's better to stay silent with a clenched fist.

Glad to know they are hackers on the leaderboards, I saw all Jokers on the the top of each mission and they had ridiculous scores unable to be attained in the short time span of Season 1. If I gotta grind, it makes it less worth it with hackers dominating the leaderboard and spoiling stuff.

Damn man, I think I'm one of the few people who really enjoy this game from beginning and till today. For me season is absolute blast, I have so much fun and so in love with this game, playing everyday from day one. But hearing they gonna close it after season 5 for me is heartbreaking. Still seeing a lot of people wanting to get into the game but not want to pay more than 20 bucks to play. Eventually game will probably be close to free and I’m hoping more people will try it out. I had no interest in the game until I got access to the alpha test. I was hooked instantly. Just need people to try it out and who knows what can happen.

At a certain point I think rocksteady has to call it, whether that means booting all servers offline. Or selling the game to a company that would be able to handle these issues, like Epic, or Riot Games just to name a few. Maybe even hand the game to Microsoft, or Sony. Whatever they decide to do they need to do it fast. With this being said whatever does happen, STOP SPENDING MONEY ON THE GAME. Because you will probably just lose it.

I’m a fan cause of it being a fun game and I wish people would actually realize that joker is from his first appearance of his timeline from the comics not the joker we are all well known with . They stated from the beginning that this joker hasn’t reached supervillain level before brainiac attacked his earth and that people are upset about that annoys me cause they didn’t listen to rocksteady when they revealed him as the first dlc character

Gonna be honest I was one of the people that despised this game and bought in to the hate I bought it on sale for half off on a whim. Started playing ended up actually liking it and here I am watching your videos trying to get more information on upcoming content so it can turn around. Look at fallout 76 for instance.

I like the ss game tbf it’s fun. I liked the missions at first but the joker season disappointed me a bit. Hardly any story content and basically no new missions. The game is fun but the missions are either too difficult or rlly boring most of the time, the one mission with the massive robot for me takes to long and the ivy incursion is just a pain to deal with. I have to admit the new incursions of just killing loads a certain amount of ppl are much better than ivys mission so thank god for that XD. I also like traversing around as Harley, Joker and Boomer. They are the most fun for me. Ik ppl say Harley’s traversal sucks but I love it. I kinda don’t like deadshots tho, cus I always feel like I’m landing back on the ground as I’m never normally close to buildings, at least Harley can grapple to one lole

I want to love this game but there’s a lot wrong with balance and content. There’s just not enough to do in the game the gameplay is solidbut content is to repetitive, also the modifiers contradicting things that characters have built into there skin trees limiting build diversity . Instead of being 90% resistance to frenzy why not give positive reinforcement by making poison do 25-50% more dmg to enemies making it appealing while having frenzy still be viable.

They confirmed pre launch they are adding an offline option and since the game is pier to pier even if the game ends and they “shut down the servers” you’d still be able to play with others also I don’t see that happening even when it does end it won’t be like avengers and get delisted because the games made by wb and they don’t have to worry about paying for the rights

I hope the game succeeds and your channel does as well. I recently deleted the game off my console because after getting the joker, I felt like I didn’t have much reason to keep playing. Personally I don’t like the scarecrow gear, I got a Bane tier 3/ tier 1 hybrid build on my Harley that I’ve been using. Their decision to make craze weaker this season kinda annoyed me but the build still works. If they fix some the of the issues like that and make the story a bigger focus I think I’ll redownload

Yeah honestly have only had 1-2 scarecrow gear equipped at most it’s not that hood or fun to use it’s apparently getting bigger but eh I prefer the bane set and the new/old notorious gear over it. Also guessing you didn’t see it but I said in the video they are changing the craze immunity to be “craze resistance” so enemies will now be affected by it but just won’t be as affected as in season 0 and future seasons which imo is good. Episode 2 should be here may 9th but honestly not much to do but grind rn so just wait till like may 8th and re-download then to experience it the sort should also be better with at least 2 story missions still not great but better than 1 and future seasons should have more. Sorry for the long reply lol

Dude they killed their own game and this is without talking about the poor development of the main characters and they awful story, the only thing the game has for itself is its gameplay and when you look at it closely, it doesn't make sense. Take king shark for exemple, why would he use guns? But anyway... Look at the launch of season 1... I loved the idea to be able to play the Joker and Harley, wel they have 0 interactions this is ridiculous. I can farm matery 100 + with Harley but the game is empty there is no challenges just the same incursions to farm over and over, the same we farmed in pre-season and we are forced to use a glitch to farm the battle pass and even if they put it at a 100 points per missions it's too late... And who wants to do 760 incursion / missions for it? No iconic weapons like Harley's gun, no boss, no world boss, no story for season1, no development of the characters, no challenges (the 95% is a joke), no variety in the enemy we face and so on. I bought it special edition or whatever, I still need to spend money if i want the full package for the classic costumes. I really wanted to love this game but so far I only have been given reason to hate it and quite. And lets not talk about the multiplayer.
