Something that makes me cozy is knit everything. I even tought myself to draw a knit pattern for my characters with knit sweaters. I've noticed that a lot of youtubers use various tricks to mimick the feeling of knit fabric, but never really drawing it. I know that most of the time it's to save time, but I figured I may make my own video in the future with different pattern tutorials.

A comfortable chair in a warm room, some comfortable clothes, and finally, reading in the evening. Those are the current things that make me feel cozy. My criteria for being cozy changes daily though, according to my mood. Some days painting, or sculpting will take precedence over reading. But I always make a small amount of time for myself to relax in a cozy setting as often as possible. I find it helps with my mental health as. I loved seeing inside your sketchbook. Your art is always flawless, and that makes me smile. I am enjoying my own art journey. I gain experience with each painting I do. It's been a brilliant ride so far! I love this channel so much because it is the only channel that I can go to no matter what mood I’m in right now. No matter if I’m sad, happy, mad, bored, grumpy, excited no matter what I will always love her videos and enjoy them. The three things that make me feel cozy are warm beverages. Like hot chocolate or coffee. The second thing that makes me feel cozy is fuzzy blankets. And the third thing is Christmas decorations.

Thanks for the inspiration in this video Mira, it will be fun to try these ideas (as an older unwell person who has just started her artistic voyage) and create something simple that looks good. My cosy things include: snuggling up in bed listening to a thunderstorm (and seeing the poor kangaroos sheltering under the eaves), wrapping up in a big soft towel after a hot bath or shower and hot water bottles. 🙂

Oh boy, am I loving this idea so much! I've been trying to get my almost 9 year old daughter to spend more time in her drawing pad and I think I've got a plan. What makes me feel cozy? My daughter, my dog and cat, chai tea with French Vanilla creamer, eggplant with cheeeeessse, my heated blanket, snowfall... so much more! My daughter and I will be spending our Saturday in our drawing pads ;)

Peak of cozy happiness on a winter's day for me; When it's dark and the rain is hammering the window, I like to switch on my desk lamp, make a nice cup of coffee and paint. I can easily and happily lose a few hours like that. 😊 I love the little cups with faces. 😊

I did something similar the other day! I got a scrap piece of paper I am not a fan of, and drew up a quick picof Sailor Moon in my style. I painted it in how most peo0le colour in colouring books and I ended up loving it!

I made a page in my journal about a year ago of things that make me feel cozy. I added pictures and it’s one of my favorite pages I’ve done in it. Cozy socks, sitting by the fireplace, and snuggling with my dog are just a few of the things that make me feel cozy ❤

QOTD: What really makes me feel cozy is watching the switch between fall and winter, where it is still beautiful and colorful but it is getting colder. I love feeling the cold on my face and then walking in to a nice warm place like my house and then getting into some nice warm clothes and sitting down to read, play games on my switch or even draw

I always think how cool it would be to see a left-handed artist draw a whole piece w/ their right hand or the other way around. I really want to try it. I'm sure it would be super hard. Three things that make me feel cozy are: reading books, warm food and hot tea or coco and comfy sweaters and other cloths. I will defiantly buy your coloring book its sound so fun! That could be interesting. However being left handed had forced me into a level of ambidextrous over the years simply because things are made for right handedness. I’m a vet tech and because I’m a visual learner I learned to do things like suture and draw blood with my right hand and then with time just started doing it with my left if the positioning was more convenient.

When I was a child, I learned how to do things w/ my left hand like play piano and write but I haven't really tried drawing or going a whole day w/ just using my left hand. I don't really consider myself a right-handed or left-handed person.

Omg YES!!!!!!!!!! If we could use crayons, watercolors, markers, that would be phenomenal! (Understandable that alcohol markers bleed thru almost everything anyways) I would buy it if the paper is tough!!!

Thanks for these videos ♥. Three things that make me feel cozy are makeup, markers, and Game of Thrones. Doing my makeup is so relaxing and I love that I get to do it everyday. I love any kind of marker, whether it is Crayola, Copic, Zebra Mildliner, Tombow, Kuretake, you name it, I probably love it. And of course I love GoT because it's nostalgic and I'm watching it again for the 4th or 5th time. I should read the books next.

I watch your channel Mira, because I'm the kind of person who is self critical and struggles with perfectionism. If I make a mistake I will quite possible literally start crying. But yet I want to be an artist and a writer. I love your attitude towards art, and how you react to thinks like mistakes and imperfections, which is a huge contrast to how I react myself. I want to learn from you. I myself want to play around with character design, for the characters from the book series I want to write one day, so I don't know if you have any ideas for that? Also I love Winnie The Pooh as well, and your kids are very lucky to grow up with his stories from a young age. Pooh is something I find cozy, because it reminds me of when I was a young child myself. I had a Pooh themed bedroom. ❤

Graphic recordings are great for brainstorming ideas in general, and I'm glad that you're introducing them to your audience! They're very often used in corporate settings as a form of visual notetaking done by illustrators, and they're a very valuable skill to have when you want to simplify any received information. A useful alternative to notetaking in lectures if text can boggle you down, 12Tone's videos are a great example in this respect. Great video as always!

Mira you should try erasable colored pencils (like col-erase from prismacolor) for sketching, so your sketches can be colorful, but you can still erase it!

What makes me feel cozy? Uhm.... that's a good question. Sweaters and Sweatpants, a nice (scentless) candle and a cup of coffee with my mum. Also... cuddling my cat makes me feel cozy, too. I actually made some watercolour bookmarks just to paint something. I was in the mood to paint and didn't really know what 🤷‍♀

To answer your question for sketchbooks, my favorites are: Illo Sketchbook Articka Sketchbook Any handmade sketchbook from TheForestFromUsToYou on Etsy - She is my sister-in-law and actually made the sketchbook in this video! 😀 As far as paint brushes go, anything by Princeton is usually a favorite. They can be a bit pricier, but their Princeton Select Artiste line (with the blue handle) is more affordable and happens to be one of my favorites! They last forever! Hopefully that helps! I'm left handed too. Because I don't curl my hand around the top when I write (like most left-handed people), I write like you do, I have a tendency to smear. I don't wear white or cream anymore because I will absolutely get the ink or pencil from my hand all over my clothes.
