Merci ! Y a t il une différence entre lakene et fa ?
@LevantineArabicwithMahaАй бұрын
@@Delphine-h5m Delphiine ouii bonne question!

How do you pronounce ض in the lebanese dialect? While in fus7a the pronunciation is a bit hard, it seems like the lebanese dialect doesn‘t really differentiate between ض and س. Both sound like a usual „s“ in the english language as in „sorry“. Or is there indeed a specific pronunciation for ض in the lebanese dialect?
@LevantineArabicwithMahaАй бұрын
@@paytez ض is pronounced like in fus7a as a hard d such as in the words مريضة That means the pronunciation is the same as fus7a for this letter :) ث is sometimes pronounced like "s
@paytezАй бұрын
Oh wait, I am so sorry! I meant ص and not ض. I mean that ص seems to be pronounced like a س. Sorry for the confusion😊
@LevantineArabicwithMahaАй бұрын
@paytez yea makes sense..but we also pronounce it like fus7a maybe a bit softer but definately harder than an s. Does it make sense? That means they don't sound the same even in lebanese dialect.
@paytezАй бұрын
@@LevantineArabicwithMaha yes I think I get what you mean. Maybe the pronunciation of letters in the lebanese dialect could be a potential video. Especially uncommon letters like ض ص ق غ ع خ ح ج ط ط ذ ث 😊
