We were so desperate to survive that we never even thought about building these fashionable housing complexes and parks that waste so much land... But, very good it.

HAHAHA exactly! Now we have extra food, beavers and space to build pretty things :)

Absolutely brilliant designs. It's great to see some visual design elements coming into the game rather than just utility designs. I'd never thought about putting rooftop terraces on anything but rooftops! The name had got me focused on where to put it! That changes today, great stuff!

Thank you for kind words, glad you liked the video. There are lots of ways to made your timberborn world nice and cozy

Great video! I've often found a lot of Timberborn projects to not be very aesthetically pleasing, so it's great to see stuff like this. Do the trees and plants tend to look better with the planting area kept in place for a 'soil' flowerbed effect, or might it be nice to remove the planting area for just grass? Perhaps just for the trees?
@itszeeeti Жыл бұрын
Thanks you. That's a very good question. I haven't thought about that. Worth a try

I don't understand, you don't build sweatshops for your beavers too?

Not anymore! New times are here and we are treating our beavers like kings and queens

Your ideas on esoteric building are great. I only thought of this as a serval game until now. An idea to improve your trees. Once planted deselect them from the tree planting selection folder. The grass will return under them. Better then the tiled dirt look. In some settings.
@itszeeeti Жыл бұрын
Thank you :). Thats a great idea. Havnt thought about removing planting thing to get green grass.

You telling me you can put rooftops and roof terraces on platforms?!?!? I know this video is focused purely on aesthetics, but as someone who likes to build a very pratical base as compact as possible (which means hoing vertical a lot of times) this is a game changer Speaking of hoing vertical, do you jave any layouts for a more vertical buildings? That would be awesome. Keep up the good work
@itszeeeti8 ай бұрын
Yea you can do that. I have 2 videos on efficient buildings that you should check out. And thank you 🙂

Just a tiny, not important tip, if you remove the "planting area" after planting the plant, it stays but leaves natural ground underneath. It's suitable for underwater plants and berries/dandelions.
@itszeeeti Жыл бұрын
I never thought of that. That's a great way to have some variety

The more I watch your videos, the more I realise I have no sense of aesthetic. My maps are just a mess! :) I think two-dimensionally. It never would have occurred to me to put the statues on a platform.

This is incredible, thank you. My problem with building my beaver towns is they're functional, but messy and ugly. I'll definitely be trying some of these ideas. Do you ever offer to look at someone's save game and offer feedback?

Thanks you for kind words. I agree, my world has always been efficient and ugly. This is a nice change and I like how nice everything looks. Right now I don't have time to give feedback.
