Very nicely explained! I have a small suggestion.For the symbols the students should know that the midpoint of the base is taken,in case of prominent surveyed tree the bottommost point should be taken and for a pair of alphabets like RS(Railway Station),the mid-point between both the letters should be taken.

Take this example: 5 is at the end of the first half of 10, not in the middle or beginning of second half; 1 2 3 4 5 _ 6 7 8 9 10. So suppose there is 6.5, round it to 6, not 7. If it is 6.6 then round it to 7, not 6.

WRITE THE EASTINGS OF LINE ON WHICH THE FEATURE IS LYING. ASSUME THAT A TEMPLE IS LYING ACROSS THE EASTING 89 SO WE WOULD WRITE THE EASTINGS IN 6 FIGURE GRID REFERENCE. SAME IN THE CASE OF NORTHINGS.EXAMPLE NORTHING 34 FINAL EXAMPLE OF 6 FIGURE GRID REFERENCE - 89_34_ WRITE THE MEASUREMENTS IN THE BLANKS. HOPE I SOLVED YOUR PROBLEM!!!!
