For those watching this video and plan to visit Japan for the first time, in addition to saving your money for a shopping spree, learn the social etiquette of Japan. A lot of the social norms of the United States are frowned upon in almost every country in the world.

@saljablo27674 ай бұрын
You’re right. The USA is the only country where everyone else can come here and not conform to a single norm and we have to be ok with it. But if we go to any other country, we better be on our best behavior. Get real.

13:27 I was about to say that you're scoring big time now that the USD to yen conversion is fantastic for USD. Great pick ups.
@yuji0078 Жыл бұрын
Exactly right. Americans when u go to Japan spend the money you have there cuz the conversion is the best right now. When I came back I had 30,000 yen and it was only $150 usd when it’s normal it’s like $275-$300

50:28 i own that pair of shoe but different colourway i can say i like it very much. Although it look a bit like balenciaga 3XL which i own it too. After comparing both of them on hand, i felt this old order turbo gt sneakers is quite worth owning it. The only thing that lose to 3XL is just the branding i guess.

Ok, I just have to comment on the pricing he mentioned to stay in Japan etc. - I fly from Amsterdam I went in febuary payed €1200 direct with KLM - I am going in a week from now for 1150 (1 stopper) with Britsch Airways - I am staying for 20 days this time. I payed €1200 for hotels. - Food, you can spend big, you can spend small, you can spend normal. I would say you need €100 - €150 a day to do everything, eat, drink and chill (excluding shopping) - Don't take taxi's, take the metro, everything in Tokyo is max 30 minutes away ish. Metro is super cheap, day pass is €6 something like that. - Yen is been going down heavily, it's a perfect time to go to Japan and enjoy (BEST SHOPPING PLACE IN THE WORLD) Jay someone finessed, maybe you meant for the whole crew, I don't know..

Jay hope Joanie is doing well. And that biz is good. Jay I’m quarantined rn for covid. But thank you for this video. I’m bored to death. I can’t touch shoes to geek over that I got in this week or also sell them cause subconsciously I don’t want to get anyone sick. But I got to be around it through this vid and again learn something from the wise. Also I need to send pairs your way. Kinda hoping you accept some at the new store here in LA. 20 pairs of A Ma 4’s and much more DS heaters from affordable to expensive. I got these CLB AF1’s that I can’t sell for the life of me. Dope shoe to. I apologize if I’ve lagged sending just been trying to build something not exactly just a resell brand cause I love shoes too much to stop it there. But also juggling life at the same time. Wishing you, Joanie the team at UN a blessed week. And thank you for all that you do! Proud to throw the tee on and rep UN!
