Yessss I recently relaxed after 10 plus years.. i addition to only wearing no heat styles so Iam still trained to treat my hair as "natural"..love this because it gives me more ideas to style my hair without heat

Also, what products leaves relaxed hair soft. Oily products are easy to find, but products that make hair touchably soft is a mystery.

Get the children's relaxer it's less harsh on ur hair plus it's visibly and when you touch it it is soft

I don't use a moisturizer in the traditional sense. I use it's a 10 styling potion and I go over that with my coconut oil. For my scalp I use JBCO.

Thank you. My daughter has decided to relax her very thick 4c hair. Starting 4th grade and wants to do her own hair. This will be great for her, easy. Just take braids or twists out in the morning and she can decide how she wants her hair and do it herself. Plus she wears school uniforms so it's kind of nice to change ur hair style more often and not be stuck with protective styles and the same uniform everyday. .

Oh which moisturizer product do you use? And when in your braids how do you prepare your hair at night?

I use it's a 10 styling potion as my moisturizer. Because I do the LOC method with my braids I don't really need added moisture. I only keep my braids in for like a day or two. Example: Sunday wash day (LOC method)braid it down, Monday wear my braids, Tuesday take them out ( I may put coconut oil on my hair) pineapple at night, Wednesday moisturize. I only pineapple at night. Thurday coconut oil fluff and go, pineapple again. I will re moisturize Friday if needed. I know it's alot but I hope this helps.

I am 4c as well. I believe you when you say you are 4C. And, your techniques work on my hair. No one thinks I am 4c when I wear your braidouts on my relaxed hair. And I tie my edges down also with Ebin. Hahahahaha! The only person with the similar 4c that I have is you so far. Yes, you are 4c, whether people want to believe it or not. When I do your braidout, people ask me if I am Dominican. LOL!!! I died my natural hair soft black with Garnier permanent color. Then I relaxed with a relaxer for color treated hair, after a couple of months. I should have relaxed first, but it was too late, I heard. I had not decided to relax at that time. It took a while to find a relaxer for color treated hair. I was surprised that it took a while to find a relaxer specifically for color treated hair. It looks great. Whew! I need a color touch up for roots, but I plan to use semi permanent now that I am relaxed. But, I plan to wait. In the meantime I found a wonderful temporary touch product up called Garnier Express Retouch in Black that does not transfer the color on my hands. You just rub it on the gray with the sponge applicator and it lasts until you shampoo I just need a little touch up on bangs and a bit on temples, after I style until I shampoo each time. It is a great product for covering some gray between color. I may try to just use this product as long as I can without using the semi permanent dye for my touchup. The Granier Express Retouch is not easy to find. It costs about nine dollars plus tax. It is not easy to find. I found mine at Target, after I looked for it on google. I just have some gray on top, mostly. I am so happy I found your web site. I do not know how to flat iron. I tried once, and my hair immediately reverted. So these braidouts are easy for me. Treat and Braid and sleep and It is done. I am so excited that I gave you my hair life story. LOL. Thank you!!! Also, I like your makeup. I have similar features like you have, and no one really does makeup for those features and eyes and complexion. I am shocked by your makeup. That is how I should do my makeup. Will you do a makeup video as well? Thank you.
