In the first one they use Jack Nicholson as an example of Midwestern accent, yet he grew up in NJ lol

Ha! Quite the talent then, mastering Midwest even when not on screen.

The March 2002 was my favorite one. Do more Cosmo from 2000s.

I noticed as I was putting together this compilation that I have NOTHING from 1997 to 2001 - gotta remedy that next year ;)

You sound like a graphic designer - I like how you analyze the spreads. Imagine what an insane game of Tetris magazine layout must be, between the content and the ads. It's inconceivable trying to do it before InDesign, like, 5 or higher. And the further back you go, the smaller and dumber and more psychic the ads get, so the Cosmo content follows suit with all those moronic featurettes. In general I feel like Cosmo is better seen than heard. It shines up front with the big expensive multi-page ads and high fashion editorial spreads; the copy's dumb but you don't even notice. Then it starts telling you about "your man," and as a phallo-American (if a gay one), I feel like people who talk about men this way are too dippy and dorky to have sex with. And lastly, Jackie Stallone's psychic buddies. "Your man's cheating on you...with another man...he says you're too annoying..." A comment of this length isn't weird on a 6 hour video...OK it is. It's all weird lol
