FYI- I didn't get HD or correct focus until about 1:14. Don't know what was happening, but replayed and it happened several times. Just thought you'd like to know.

I have just gotten the monopod and it a great product, but I take majority of my cell phone photos in portrait orie ntation, and it is not a very stable position when I want to take portrait photos, as the cell phone is oriented on the side, and pulls to topple when the monopod id extended. If they made the cell phone adapter to allow a longer opening this would solve the problem.

Totally off topic... but I bought a Altura flash kit and it doesn’t work off camera. I went back and found out the cord doesn’t work on my nikon. But when the flash is on my hot shoot it works. Is it not supposed to work off camera with my type of camera or am I doing something wrong ? Very new at indoor lighting kits.

Hi, off camera it can only work in slave mode, it will not work with TTL cables.

Hello, Ar Lan. Yes, you can. The telescoping pole features a 1/4-20 thread underneath which will allow you to mount it either directly to the head of the tripod or to a quick release plate. Just make sure that you don't exceed the carrying capacity of your tripod or tripod head.

Hi, it could hold the SX530, but for the best safety, you would need a regular sized tripod.
