I had some issue with jenkins starting up (startup screen in browser). This was because of too little ram. I went from 500mb to 4gb, now it's running like a charm.

Hi, i did as same as you did it, but whenever i write dns:8080 it shows me sit can't be reached, took too long to respond I tried to create twice but same error But my internet is good, Can you help me in any way?

Restart service and try

@@r2schools Hi, just incase anybody else is having the same issue, it's not because of restarting the service or anything. But because of security issues to 8080 port on the virtual machine. Go to your virtual machine and add a new port 8080 and allow traffic to it with any. It works.

ensure you have added inbound rule 8080 in networking - network settings in vm and also use this command after installing jenkins Environment= “ JENKINS_PORT =8080”
