Thank you so much for sharing this. One of my great grandfather's was shipped off to Australia at the age of 19, for his participation as a Rebel. His ship records have a capital R for Rebel. He was sentenced in Kildare. He obviously survived the whole ordeal, and here I am. Thank you again. I would love to see the term convict changed to slave because that would show the world the truth. White people were used as slaves to build the colonies.
