There's not enough money in the world for me to live in Warhammer fantasy (let alone 40K). You are literally never safe. Even if you seem safe from everything, the Skaven Under-Empire is global. And even if *somehow* they can't get to you, gods (likely Chaos gods) can just fuck with you if they deem it worth their time.

In a perfect world, TWWIII would've had sea battles, these monsters would appear as a 3rd side as wild cards that would attack everyone to spice it all up. And I'm reminded that Merwyrms are still not in the High/Dark Elf rosters with Vampire Coast factions not having undead variants of them.

In a perfect world they'd be available as units and wild cards, wild cards would be great for the game overall, even if there was team sided wildcards having said that it would certainly need to be more refined then the man o war system where everyone can take everyone

Currently running Salzenmund: City of Salt and Silver for a two player group. My players are currently on their way to Wreckers point via ship to investigate undead disturbances. What they don't know is that everyone on board their ship is a member of a Cult of Stromfels planning to sacrifice them along with a priest who accompanied them on their journey. This video helped me pick out which sea serpent they're going to be sacrificed to, should they get that far. PS-Your Salzenmund video hooked me and convinced me to buy it, thanks a lot!

I would love to see them in TW:WH3. One of the issues with TW:WH series so far has been not using the bodies of water effectively. In fact, IMO TW:WH3 made it even worse by reducing the size of the bodies of water. I think that the seas and oceans of Total War: Warhammer III should be dotted by under-water races' settlements and gigantic marine monsters that interact with the NPCs and players. Side note: Besides submarine settlements, I still believe that we should have flying cities, and real under-cities that are located on a sub-layer of the game's map.

Size(Length) scale; Megalodon -> Estimated 52" or 16 meters. Orb Leviathan -> 45 yards = 135" or 41.1 meters. Black Leviathan -> 4 "Furlong"(equal to 1/8 mile) and 2 "Chain"(66") = 2772"(0.52Miles) or 884.9Meters(0.844Kilometers). Gonna be real honest, the "Gargantuan" sounds tiny but thicc(10 yard diameter = 30" or 9.1 meters wide) since "Hundreds" long isn't as long as *half a mile* when compared to the Black Leviathan.

If I wrote for gamesworkshop I would flesh out the southern part of the "African continent equivalent" I would make armies based off of the Zondiy, the Annabailey, the Zulu, and Kush. I would also have Vortrekers, Imperial settlers that would be like Afrikaners and Bores. There would be where hyenas or maybe leopards There would be armies of beastmen based on African Beast. Water buffalo gazelle elephant men ect.. Zebra men would be their own faction. I love the idea of a horde of highly mobile blood-crazed cannibal zebra centaurs that attack in swarms from multiple directions just roaming the Savannah destroying whatever they come across. There would be a chaos jungle and the southern people would have their own takes on the chaos gods Zeench would be a spider who spins webs of plots and intrigued, like Anansi the spider. Khorn would be the rage lion, god of battle honor and Victory. Nurgle would be a diseased crocodile that lives within a poisonous swamp. Slanesh would be... I don't know, a creepy hermaphrodite with exaggerated features i guess.

Nice video. With regards to the multiple sea gods comment, I don't believe Manaan and Mathlaan are different Gods, but rather different versions of each culture's belief in their god of the sea. The names are too similar to be unique. Stromfels and a range of other less deities of the sea of course exist. I also believe Khaine and Khorne are probably interchangeable, Khaine being a little bit more refined as the elven god of murder.

Most of the naval lore available on warhammer comes from man o war and dreadfleet, both done in the times when Cathay had no lore beyond, China lol, if we were to see a reboot of any naval system for fantasy we would likely see a Cathay fleet and lore for many new monsters, likely inspired by Chinese mythology, same for that entire region really, though I don't know enough about those mythologies to name sea monsters
