I feel dumb for asking but what are the strongs and those numbers?

The Bible is translated from Greek and Hebrew. The strongs is like a dictionary that tells you what the original word was that was translated into English. The Old Testament is in Hebrew… so each word has an H with a number. New Testament is Greek so it’s G with a number. I find out the strongs by googling for example: Strongs Psalms 1:8 And it will bring me to strongs info (original language). Does that make sense?

You always have such good ideas. I am older than you, so I do worry eventually your tiny handwriting will be so hard for you to read. I would also like to recommend to you and your followers the Thompson Chain Reference Bible, The Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible, The Archaeological Study Bible, The ESV Study Bible, The Holy Land Illustrated Study Bible, The NLT Illustrated Study Bible and a nice Bible Atlas.

I plan to organize in this Bible and then once I figure this info out I may go into one more Bible and create more inserts of info I have created so it’s larger font… kinda as needed will go that route ☺️

I love how you choose a method based on how you feel or think at the time of reading the chapter. And, how you combine all the methods! Many stick with one method and I like that too, but then wondered how you can add other things like you are doing. Your way just totally freed me up! Thank you for sharing the details.

Have you ever tried using the Inductive Method since you enjoy marking scripture?

I prefer just coming to scripture and going with what is needed in the moment but I do know many like those more formal systems.
