There's a door-to-door delivery option where my customer's order is delivered to me. Do I have to pay for the their order upon delivery?

As reps, we can do traditional selling. We submit orders and have them delivered to us. Then we arrange delivery to our customers. This is done on Avon.com when we login with our account number. Customers will need to pay you up front and then you submit to Avon.

When does a representative become inactive and then how long g the wait to sign up again?

Great question! Accounts go inactive after 6 campaigns of no order (as long as you submit 1 order every 2.5 months or have an online order, you're good to go). After no orders for 1 year, accounts are closed and you'll need to sign up again. What are you most concerned about?

Hello I wanted to know how can I get a new mentor because the one I have isn't helping me with my business. I've been selling avon for almost 9 months now and I'm only getting 3-10 customers and I nearly make enough to help me get by. Hi! You're only able to change mentors if you close your account and have 1 year away from the business. I suggest keep listening to other leaders, follow many of them on fb too. Find as many ways as you can to get your brochure in the hands of people. Consistency is key! When you find ways that don't work, it gets you closer to finding what does! Events are great to get in front of many people!

Joyce Preziosi Hi Joyce! There are lots of ways to sell Avon, you will need to try many things to find what works best for you. When building online sales, it can take quite awhile.. almost up to a year to get consistent results. BUT, I think KZbin videos will give you the best results! Keep finding ways that this business gives you results.. videos are great! Also, always expand your comfort zone! Be comfortable being uncomfortable! You can do this!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Brochures arent required in this business but I always keep a few extra on hand because i am always finding and looking for new customers. I find the more brochures I am intentional about giving out, the more sales and more earnings.

Hi Marissa! When I first started, I couldn't afford many brochures either. I started with 10 every campaign and used them wisely! Even asking for them back from my customers so I could service more. Also with our digital brochure now, you can share the link with SO many more people! I love my customers that shop online and I make sure they get the digital brochure link every campaign!

Ya but its not only 10 dollars! And yous guys don't mention that. We want to make money not spend money. And yes their. going to be large investments. You don't mention that either! Come clean for once! And be real about the business! How much of an investment do you have to come out with before you see a return, As far as I know you have to pay for the products up front. Hi Emma! Thanks for sharing your thoughts... you're right, you DO have to invest because this IS a business. I try really hard to be honest and upfront at the fees and cost associated with running your own business. The first year of a business, most don't make a lot of money. With Avon, you really aren't making any money until you reach Presidents Club (selling $10,000 in 1 year which is less than $400 a campaign), which you can achieve in your first or second year. Starting out as a new rep, you need to be selling around $100 each campaign to cover your business expenses. After the $100, then you start making money. Is it a lot? No. But when you stick with it, you earn more. This needs to be a long term plan.. not get rich quick. That is not how this business works. Also, Avon requires you to pay for the products before they ship to you. Do you know of any other company that will ship you products before you pay? Collect your customer payment up front, that's what I do and then I can pay for my full order. What are the fees associated with avon? The start up fee (currently, $10, $25 or $50). You also have a shipping fee each campaign of $6-$14 depending on order size. Avon recommends we charge our customers 75 cents to help offset that fee. And we also have to pay for brochures, which 10 brochures is $6. Do you know of any other business that the overhead cost is less than $25 a month? ($12 each campaign in shipping fee and brochure fee). Please know, this business works for many people including myself. Yes, it can be challenging to make money at first..but once you build your customer base to 20 customers who order $20 every 2 weeks, you'll be earning at least $300 a month. AND when you start to build a team there is no cost investment.. but you get very lucrative bonuses.
