But why vitamin D drops when she is being given balanced diet and is taken to a stroll in sunlight?

A balanced diet can't fulfil the requirements of vit D properly as it's not there in most foods and if course sunlight helps...but doctor suggests vit D drops till 1 year for proper absorption
