After 10 years I restart my loc journey about 2 months ago. All because I wanted the thickness I see some ppls hair. So I did the two strand twist method and I'm beyond happy with how my hair is now. 🥰🥰 can't wait to see where my hair will be at in 6 months

I had to restart my journey, I was 5 months and some days but the back of my hair’s density was as so low it couldn’t handle the weight☹️ I’m starting again today tho

New Subbie here! ❤ Thanks for sharing this video because our hair texture looks very similar and I’m not quite 2 months in and going through the stage of what have I done? Is this going to look as beautiful as the other locs I see and envy? 😂 So many doubts and frustrations but seeing your progress “keeps hope alive”! 😂 My hair is so dry and stiff but I’m guessing that’s normal for some and it will eventually drop and become free flowing. Either way you are beautiful and so are your locs! Congrats and keep inspiring us newbies on this loc journey. 😊

Thank you!! ✨️ Girl I just use rose water 😂 I was a lazy loose natural, and now I'm a lazy loc'd natural 😭 My loctitian puts some moose in my hair to retwist - I've been using Lion Locs when I do my own retwists

The only thing making me sad is the shrinkage. I'm so scared of how short my hair will shrink! Big day is Friday tho😊

Yeaaah the shrinkage can get crazy at first, but the length seems to go back and forth... before you know it, you'll start to see a big difference 😁 CONGRATS on your new journey!!

Hey! I not sure what size these officially are, but they're definitely smaller than the "traditional" size. I do retwists every 6-8 weeks! 💫

I have interlocs and I hate the way they look is it possible to get them taken out and restart with the two strain twist method

We have very similar textures, so this video was very helpful! My loose natural hair is about 8 inches long but will shrink to about 4 when soaking wet. Did you deal with a lot of shrinkage with your loose natural hair? If so, how did your first loc wash go?
