I am so happy for you! I hit 5 months yesterday. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I have an 18 YO with ASD who is so much like A. I think that many of us Moms neglect ourselves out of exhaustion. My hubs and I watch your channels together and know we aren’t alone on these journeys. I’ve started going to Palates class because I was so inspired by you Priscilla. I am now 55 and want to be there for my kids and grandkids. I told my 14 year old granddaughter I wanted to make sure I was there to dance at her wedding. I know it’s something in the future but I want to make sure I’m there! My youngest daughter hasn’t had children yet but I told her I wanted to make sure I was there to watch her kids so they would never have to go to daycare. My grandmother passed away at 97. I want to live that long,too!!!

I am so elated for you Priscilla!! I had the Gastric sleeve 6/2018 and it's been life changing, my preop weight was 370 and I'm now 228. The things I had to learn was to stop before I was full and to only take a few sips of liquid when I eat or I'd feel terrible. The surgery was a blessing and so worth it, I had hair loss but I can breath and be active again! I am so very happy for you!! I wish you Love, Positivity and continued success my Sleeve Sister! 😊❤😊

Priscilla, YOU LOOK FABULOUS! I was with weight watchers several years and managed to lose 67 lbs but then I got bored and fell off the wagon and ended up gaining some of that weight back. So after years of battling "Battle of the Bulge" I went and saw a bariatric surgeon and had the Gastric bypass surgery. I managed to lose 86 lbs within the first 6 months ( the honeymoon phase) as the doctor put it then my weight loss came to a halt! There were several reasons why it halted. From not enough protein to not exercising enough and anything in between. Then my only child my son passed away in July of this year and I have not been able to lose anymore weight. In fact I have gain some weight. Within 5 yrs time my husband, mother, father and now my son has passed away so I think the doctor would understand my weight gain. My son was also on the Autism spectrum. I loved him dearly and if it was possible for him to return to me now with Autism I would welcome him back in a heart beat! Anyway congratulations to you, you beautiful gal! Love your vlogs and love you guys! You and Asa are AWESOME parents! ❤

Thank you so much for sharing your journey! In recent months Fathering Autism and Triple P videos it's so obvious how good you are feeling! I love seeing your dancing, and now riding the scooter. :-) So happy for you! You are an inspiration. I am 1 month post-op from Gastric Bypass and I couldn't agree more about the mental part of WLS. It can be tough but it's also about trusting in the process, not getting stuck in that frustration phase, remembering your "why" and just keep moving forward. I am already going down cloth sizes, my knees aren't hurting, and the biggest NSV was being able to come off of all blood pressure medication because my blood pressure was getting too low. I have had high bp for 12 years. I am so happy and looking forward to the future ME! I am going to check out 310 nutrition because I have been struggling with breakfast a bit. Thank you! You are doing so well and being a post sleeve girl myself it does slow down as you get past six months but if you track your food and stick with your prescribed nutrition plan and include activity you will continue in time. Also notice size change over numbers as you become more active. The numbers are so mentally annoying at times. Hang in and remember the NSVs. I've had some great surprise ones as well. I also have had some regain that's done a number on my head but doc said partly medication related and what I know is stress eating (more a counseling issue). Your lace top is stunning on you and you look so happy scooting around the neighborhood. You doing this and all the ton of stuff that you do is excellent. Keep being as happy as you can and deal with stressors head on. Way to freakin' go!!!! xo from a Seattle area sleever

Mental is so right i always think i need to eat more. But I am sticking with it. Not on any specific diet just eating less and healthier. Just trying to love life. Well done Pricilla! I had my gastric bypass in June and I’ve lost 50kg already. The difference to my overall life is amazing. No, it hasn’t been easy, but I am enjoying not finding it hard to move around- I no longer have sore knees and ankles :-)
