Yes, it really help me to decide. I bought some Afro hair was going to DIY my lock extensions but I have noticed something, which I always believed locks should be allowed to start, grow and flourish on their own, I’ve noticed that lock extension gives the hair a compact shape not natural and fluffy locked ❤️❤️🥰🥰

how do you deal with unraveling plz ? 😭 i'm almost 1 month and my twists have gaps near the root and some of the ends keep coming undone 😩

Your only 1 month in so I wouldn’t worry about any of those problems . Your hair is going through a lot of transitions so that’s normal. If they become undone just twist them again . With time they will eventually lock.

I would say it’s up to you and your hair texture. I have 4c hair so I could’ve started with twists or comb coils but because my hair was so short I had to start with comb coils . It’s really up to you and how your hair is and how you want your Locs to Look like .

It takes time you and your still in the beginning phase. And all Locs don’t lock at the same time . So be patient , it’ll eventually lock
