Take a small amount of reg (not concentrated) dishwashing soap (joy) & work it into your brush B4 you use masking fluid. It doesn’t interfere w/the masking but makes it a LOT easier to clean your brush afterwards. Amy Jones Apex, NC 🇺🇸

I really enjoyed watching your video! I'm a year in and still learning. I never used pigment powders. But you showed me what to do and how i can create cards. I'm now into washi tape. Washi tape is amazing! I'm gonna get myself pigment powders and see what I can do. Can't wait to see your next video. Oh, by the way, I loved the card u made at the end. Take care. Hope to see you soon.

I love all you techniques, they are amazing. I do however have a question, when you do them do you spray them with hairspray afterwards? I am new to the mica powders and just recently bought some . I did however tried the mica powders with just the water and after they dried I found the color rubs off. I have been watching videos and some use the hairspray for a binding agent along with isopropyl alcohol when making a spray and other techniques use gum Arabic as a binding agent, I think when making a paste. I just realized after typing all this you said you were using PIGMENT POWDERS NOT MICA so I just googled them. They mostly said the difference is the mica is shiny and the pigment is not. So I guess the question would be the same if it rubs off on the fingers when dried and if so do you use like a hairspray to seal? Thank you for all you do. I love your videos and I need to make a squisher small and larger lol as I love this technique . A word of caution when using these powders (heard on a video ) not to breath them in , getting into the lungs. Thank you again ! 🙂❤️
@nbcascards3 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yes, if your powders rub off when dry then you could use hairspray or a spray fixative to keep them in place. I think I talk about this in the first video in my pigment powders 101 series: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXjSfn5noa5_mNk

Do you know who sells the prism powders? I’ve considered buying just a mica powder set, but they aren’t pigmented really aren’t they just colored mica? I like these prism powders. Maybe tomorrow I can try to make a few smoothers. Do they last a while?
@nbcascards2 ай бұрын
The prism powders are by Hunkydory. The Luscious powders are by Indigo Blue. The Pixie Powders are by Cosmic Shimmer. x
