@cyqry Жыл бұрын
Interestingly I follow a few home-improvement type channels, some do focus on electronics and include cameras. Most of the time the reason the quality is trash is because the owners don't know enough about photography to properly set them up. You can't really get something that works perfectly in both day and night conditions.... realistically, you should be having two different cameras for this situation and perhaps having them set up in different locations. Low-light conditions can also lead to severely grainy images unless the camera is specifically designed for that usage. I find people tend to use floodlights to brighten an image too but then they also don't set up the camera itself to consider that so all they end up doing is blurring our the entire face due to the huge contrast. Don't get me wrong, camera quality can do with a huge improvement too, better cameras overall means the prices for good quality cameras will come down as "better" ones take over as the premium choice. But I would also recommend anyone setting up cameras around their home to seriously look into how they work and how to get the absolute best picture quality out of it too if you really want that perfect mugshot to hand over to the police.

A few things: • That little girl did an awesome job hiding from that perv and would be kidnapper. • Why have cams and leave your doors unlocked? • Grandma did a good job of chasing that piece of crap with her cane. Use what you have. 👏🏼 Storytime: When I was a teenager my mom, brother and I were home alone one night. We were doing something in my brothers room that was directly down the hall from our garage. My mom heard something at the garage door. She went down the hall to the door and yelled out "Who is it?" in a booming voice. I guess someone was trying to break in. She yelled out again "Who is it?". Whoever it was ran away. A few minutes later she made me go close the garage door which we had left open. I was scared crapless. That weekend my dad installed an automatic garage door opener. Here's the thing. We lived in the back of an upscale housing edition a block away from the lake. This was in the early 80's. There wasn't anyone that lived around us that would try to break into our house. That didn't happen back then where we lived. To this day I have no idea of who that could have been. 🤷♀️ Keep your doors closed, locked, cams on, weapons at the ready. There are a lot of crazies out there. 😳

This short story I'm writing has nothing to do with break ins but just a short reminder to watch who you open doors to. A few months ago my siblings and I were at home and we heard a knock on the door, we don't get any visitors so we just thought it was our mom knocking on the door. My brother has a habit of unlocking doors without seeing who it is first, so when he unlocked the door, a kid walked into our house. It was funny seeing the kid come into the wrong house but scary at the same time for us & him. Just goes to show you, don't always assume it's just a person you know when opening the door. Always check first. Just imagine if that would've been a person he let in that was up to no good!

Clip two happened to me. Was followed all around my street for three days by an Indian man with a limp, he was driving a yellow vehicle that at first I thought was a taxi so I paid it no mind when he kept insisting I get in and asking over and over if I needed a ride. It was only after getting a good look at it the third day that I realized it was just a regular yellow car, and the thing I thought was a taxi thing on top of the vehicle was denoting it delivered pizzas, not people. The dude got out on foot and began chasing me which is the only reason I know he had a limp. I managed to hide in someone's back yard before he could get around the corner. He got back in his car and circled the block several more times before giving up. He had a very heavy accent, slicked back hair, a green polo shirt and khaki pants. I remember every detail from the night he chased me very vividly. I had to recount it all to police. Police never found him but then there was an abduction in the same area a few weeks later. All I could offer was my description of the man and his vehicle to police, I never got his license plate. Edit: I have moved from that area and still get chills whenever I drive by there. You couldn't pay me to walk through there again, let alone at night.
