If you're a big fan of Korean culture, you have most likely heard of Soju, their most popular liquor. Soju is traditionally made from rice. However, due to an event in their history, rice shortage came about and making soju with rice was banned. Koreans started making soju with alternative starches like wheat, tapioca, sweet potato and barley. Presently, different brands use different starches. The soju we used was Jinro Chamisul which was distilled from 60% grain (rice/barley), 20% sweet potato, and 20% tapioca. As advertised, soju is the cleanest spirit in the world and will not give you any hangover, and we could gladly attest to that.

SOJU COCKTAILS
STRAWBERRY YAKULT SOJU
Ingredients:
● Strawberry
● Mint leaves
● Yakult
● Ice
● 1-2 shots soju
● 1-2 shots Sprite or fizzy lemonade
Procedure:
1. Put cut strawberries and mint leaves in a glass and mash them.
2. Add ice
3. Put 1-2 Yakult
4. Add 1-2 shots soju.
5. Add 1-2 shots Sprite or fizzy lemonade
6. Garnish top with strawberry and mint.
ICE POPSICLE SOJU
Ingredients:
● Ice popsicle (any flavour of your choice)
● 1-2 shots soju
● Sprite or fizzy lemonade
Procedure:
1. Add 1-2 shots soju
2. Add the ice popsicle
3. Add in sprite or fizzy lemonade
PEACH SOJU
Ingredients:
● Peach
● 250ml sparkling water
● 2 shots soju
● Ice
Procedure:
1. Put peach in a glass and mash it.
2. Add ice.
3. Add 1-2 shots soju.
4. Add 250ml sparkling water.
5. Garnish with peach.
LEMON SOJU
Ingredients:
● 1⁄2 cup lemon juice
● Lemon slices
● 4 shots soju
● 1⁄2 cup sugar
● 1⁄2 cup warm water
● 1 cup sparkling water
Procedure:
1. Put 4 shots of soju in a large glass.
2. Add 1⁄2 cup lemon juice.
3. Add 1⁄2 cup sugar
4. Add 1⁄2 cup warm water.
5. Add 1 cup sparkling water.
6. Mix altogether.
7. In a separate glass put lemon slices in.
8. Put ice.
9. Pour in the mix.
WATERMELON SOJU
Ingredients:
● Watermelon
● 1-2 shots soju
● Sprite or fizzy lemonade
● Ice
Procedure:
1. Blend watermelon and strain to get a smooth juice.
2. Place it in a glass and add ice.
3. Add 1-2 shots soju.
4. Add sprite or fizzy lemonade.
BLUEBERRY SOJU
Ingredients:
● Blueberry
● 1-2 shots soju
● Tonic water
● Sprite or fizzy lemonade
● Ice
Procedure:
1. Place blueberries in a glass and mash them.
2. Add ice.
3. Add 1-2 shots soju.
4. Add 1 shot tonic water.
5. Add sprite or fizzy lemonade.
6. Garnish with blueberries
