If you look closely at the UFO you can see it's a meat pile floating in the air. You missed one really cool location. In the far south of the Savage Divide there's a submerged cave that gives tons of new details on Taggerty and her team pre BoS and more details on the conversion to the BoS

With the cult of Lucky Hole Mine it is seemingly a completely different cult. Cause AFTER that room there is ANOTHER secret entrance you can go through to find a seemingly dead cuthulu type creature. It's after you go through the other secret entrance, there will be another plot of vines that you can go through and find a ton of skeletons next to a giant creature, with the body similar to a draugr and the face had tentacle type things reaching out of its face that ran into the ground. The things even seemed to move.

It gets even better. Logs and notes around the area indicate whatever it was was Pre-War. Someone else also realized the statues in the mine, not the effigies, but the caved stone ones, match up to the Dunwich locations in 3 and 4. I think we found our resident Cthulhu mythos nod.

When I started F76 I exited the vault. Then I ignored the marker, and explored the map for a solid day. I always start a mission and on my way I always find myself exploring buildings along the way for hours on end. I love the game for how much stuff is packed in the map and stuff to explore.

This video inspired me to move my CAMP. I like the idea of an out of the way spot like that cave or the tunnels. I've been putting my CAMP directly in the middle of roads to be a functional pit stop for anyone who needs it, but I dont know if people really need it.

I wish I took a photo of the stationary alien ship when I saw it. I was in the Great Divide, in the far south and east, on a cliff overlooking the Bog, when I saw this thing floating in the air. Even with a scope, I couldn't tell if it was a ship, or a meat pile floating out there, but it was defiantly something hanging in the sky...

Wait Juice, are ya just walking over the whole mystery of the lucky mine? SPOILER BELOW There is an escaped mutant from WesTech hidden in that back room. You can find a description of the mutant in a terminal at westech and it makes nearly 1:1 with the model of the dead thing in that mine. It lends some credence that maybe the miners arent mothman cultists but cultists of this mutant.

From what gathered from Lucky Mine, this cult is more connected to the Cthulhu-like encounters of Fallout 3 and Fallout 4. Particularly the head in the waterfall, and the 5 heads in the cave made of a reflective metal. And interestingly enough, the mutant/monster in the cave, when you show up to it, or if you hang out in the cave for a time, moves... well, the tentacles do slightly.

you must mean test subject AM52 or AM53 else i have failed my google search or it is a non documented (yet) terminal but no dont think it realy is a escaped west-tek test subject. i think it is someting else if you go to point pleasant and listen to the holotape called "interloper" the person in the tape is called Jeff Lane and he say's: "The Mothman is a creature, more like us than the unknowable horrors in the peripheral vision of our subconscious minds. No longer just a false memory now..." "No matter how deep I must go, I will come to know the true nature of the interloper. there is more on that tape but these lines are the most interesting now and his name. somewhere near the entrance of lucky hole mine you can find another holotape called "the chosen" it is recorded by non other than Jeff Lane and it states this near the end. "Before I go deeper, for the truth revealed changes all by its very nature. Let it be known, in this world the interloper has chosen Jeff Lane as the conduit of the unknowable.". so make of this what you want but i dont think this has anyting to do with the experiments of west-tek to be honest

I have the ID card as well. I found mine on the corpse of a scientific. I think i was in the area of the Gorge Junkyard. I don't have a degree of certainty as I really didn't pay attention to where i found said card.

Sickleman might be a reference to Killroy. Killroy would go to hard to reach places around the world and write the grafiti: "Killroy was here". That was until he got famous and mayne more Killroys appeared in not so hard to reach places.

There's also Project BARRIER at Sugar Grove. Project BARRIER is a radiation shielding system that would allow its users to operate in the aftermath of a nuclear strike. Anything within would remain completely protected and unchanged. We're to receive a DLC called Nuclear Winter this summer. I believe the game mode will be as if the entire map is affected by a nuke. Operating without a hazmat suit or power armor would be extremely difficult and bases wouldn't be able to grow edible plants without the shielding. It would also mean that the world would be flooded with high level enemies. Due to the irradiated environment, food from outside the shielding would be so irradiated that it would be completely inedible. Such a game mode would be far more challenging than survival mode or adventure mode.

I found a couple I.d. cards in the hands on security guards who were dead from the blast. So now that I have, I tend to check corpses thoroughly to see if they are holding keys or other items. Infact, I found one just last night.

In Lucky Hole Mine there's a second hidden hole within the hallway of the first one on the left, it leads to a large, slumbering, giant Cthulhu looking creature that moves around and bleeds when shot. Very creepy

Almost EVERY unmarked locale has lore to it, it’s just not always at that location, the game actually has a lot of lore, some of which requires you to have prior knowledge, and when you find a cool spot, investigate and make your own conclusions.

I did run across a random super mutant conversation up on Mt. Blair, they were puzzled as to what to do because one of them had shot their leader for kicking him. It was kind of amusing - not full-on Mirelurk sandwich amusing, but still funny.

the keycard can be found on a body near the overseers camp, next to a house. it holds a holotape titled "we have failed". that keycard is what unlocks the holding cages.

For the secret base under mama dolces there is a id card you can find in the game to open the 2 sealed cages in the chineese base. I found it 2 weeks after the release of Fallout 76 last year. It was a random encounter at a house somewhere near Slocom Joes and the Lighthouse. It consists of the skeleton remains of a scientist that is lootable. On it you find a holotape labeled we have failed. Also on him is the id card, a 10mm gun and some ammo. I have looked numerous times since then and have never seen him spawn again. I don't know if they took him out or if you can only encounter this spawn once per player character. During the many times I have been back to the house it has had a number of different random encounters pop up there so maybe the body of the scientist just a rare chance of happening.

The ufo is linked with the ufo ship that crashed and the cave where the aliens are defending it with the alien blaster. You can get the alien blaster when you kill them and/or pick it up in their cave

The thing is if you have the Vault Dweller's survival guide for Fallout 76 it has 4 different Zetans in the bestiary on page 523, Alien(Lv.1), Alien Lieutenant (Lv. 32), Alien Captain(Lv.42), Alien Star Admiral(Lv.52)

You can find the keycard in a random encounter where a dead body has a keycard on it as well as a holotape where it confirms the person was a Chinese spy

If you look at the challenges for the game, along I believe combat, near the bottom theres "kill humanoid species" and "kill cryptids", two separate challenges. In the humanoid challenge is typical enemies: ghouls, scorched, etc., but also aliens. Its the only one Im missing. Given this, and the fact that the flatwoods monster is considered separate, under the cryptid challenge [I believe the Flatwoods monster is actually a Zetan and therefore an alien, but im not 100% sure on that] , i guess that aliens are a random encounter. I doubt they would have an in game challenge be uncompletable before a dlc comes out, months after the game

The first one was a reference to fallout 3 if you go to the Mama Dolce’s and you will find it swarming with Chinese ghoul spy’s they’ll shout Chinese when fighting they will ware Chinese uniforms and will use Chinese assault Rifles in a terminal you can find a specific entry an entry that talks about the new employees (I can’t remember the names) but if you read them they are *TOO* American they where Chinese spies

There's more than one "car henge" they are in close proximity though, there is a smaller one to the left of the Converted Munitions Factory about a 1 - 2 min sprint. Makes me think there are more than those as well just haven't been found yet. Also the secret Chinese base already allows us to hack the terminal you were on and open the door. Granted, yes the ID card message pops up but we can already get into that room.

The ufo looks more like one of the floating meat piles that have showed up in other places. There are also floating Chinese robots both at the Charleston railyard and the water treatment plant that you go to for the daily Ecological quest. But Zetas invading either as an event or even better a DLC would be great, maybe even have the Zetas and another alien group fighting ti out over what is left of earth, maybe. Might find out who really launched first and why.

For the chinese base, i found an id card from a rando skeleton next to an house, cant remember exactly where but it also had a note. Its useful for going into the base without the manager one, and opens the security doors with id readers

The first area is for "I Am Become Death" quest after you become General of the Enclave you look for details how to decode the nuke codes.

There is this good place directly to the east of the radio tower in the cranberry bog it’s near the south side of the map. It’s got an extremely nice view, along with a lake for water stuff😂

Overall I'd say Fallout 76 isn't nearly as fleshed out as any of the other Fallout games. I'm still finding fun it but it's hard to imagine myself playing through it dozens of times.
