#6 Ohio State vs #9 Notre Dame 2023 HYPE

Ohio State has recruited and played at a higher level than the Irish for the last 30 years. The hype on Sam Hartman is that he’s better than the average QBs Notre Dame has had since Brady Quinn. He’s still a 6th yr senior who wasn’t good enough to leave early for the draft. I think the biggest factor in this game is that I believe Ryan Day has grown a lot after the Georgia game and he is ready to take the next step as a coach. I think Jim Knowles has made some adjustments and in year two they will maximize the talent on the defense.

Notre Dame is looking different than any other Irish team in last 15 years. OSU may get more than they bargained for.

This is going to be the turning point for both team's. Both have played 3 not so great team's the last 3 week's, so this game is a measuring stick on the rest of the season. I don't believe this will be an easy game for Ohio State. I'm a little worried because I've watched Hartman play over the last few year's and he's one of the best QB's in college football. If Ohio State plays like they did against WKU(defense especially) we could have a chance at winning. It will be a close game for sure. Ohio State needs to limit the dumb penalties on the O-line. Notre Dame hasn't been tested yet, playing Central Michigan, Navy, NC State & Tennessee State. So, do they look this good because of who they've played so far or are they just really good? It's hard to gauge how good a team is when they don't play a team that actually challenges them. The same can be said about Ohio State. We didn't play our best against Indiana and YSU, but we played better against WKU, who I think was a better team than the 3 team's ND has played so far. I just hope for a clean game and if Ohio State can come out of South Bend with a W, whether it's by a lot or by 1, I'll be happy.

Yes I think Notre dame wins Ohio state quaterback not ready. This reminds of Oregon game they lost few years ago. But Ohio state defense is better .

@@vando_bandolol what? Tommy Eichenberg and Steele Chambers are some of the best linebackers in football. It’s a top 3 dline in the country. Lathan Ransom and Hancock are decent players. Iggy from Ole Miss is a very physical corner and then 5 star Sonny Styles is getting playing time. This defense looks night and day from last year. Now it’s time to prove it against top opponents
