Beauty of drafting Love is you have a similar statistical outcome to CJ Stroud, but you can build around him way later in the draft. It's easy to load up on elite RBs/TE/WR, take Reed/Watson in the 6-7th, then Love.

Jordan Love will ball out. Should be a 5th round pick. Ive been getting him in the 6th and 7th rounds. Complete bargain. Should have Patrick Mahomes numbers this year through 2026 until the packers receivers start getting signed away after their rookie contacts expire and the packers can't afford them under the cap.

You've changed your mind pretty quickly on Jacobs. I watched a video earlier of you placing him behind Pacheco and ETN. I respect your content and have followed you for year, however you're crazy. Jacobs was always ahead of them, Lloyd was never a hurdle. Top 10 finish at RB without a doubt. Potential league winner that I would take over Pacheco (who you put ahead of etn and Jacobs). To correct your estimate, it's Jacobs, Etn (I like him just as much as jacobs and he could finish better) then Pacheco.

Jacobs also has a contract where after one season the Packers can walk away with no cap ramifications hanging around. And given that the Packers drafted Lloyd and are looking to shelf him, all circumstances point to the Packers bellcowing Jacobs and running the wheels off of him. I would value Jacobs as a late 1st rounder at this point in terms of his most likely upside value.

Targets and PPR vs half are big considerations. In PPR my bet is Mixon, Walker, White then Cook. Maybe Walker first in half. Warming up to Rachaad White, Rookie C Graham Barton is getting attention and may be opening some big running lanes that were not there last season.

RBs went earlier than I expected in my draft this weekend. Wish I’d have taken Walker early in the 4th instead of a QB. End up with Gibbs and Montgomery as my top 2 RBs until Brooks is healthy 😅😬. Not ideal but Monty was the best available by a long shot when I took him in the early 6th.

I reached for Jacob’s in my 12 team ppr money league. It’s a keeper league and top end rb gets pushed up quite a bit bc of that. From the 1.03 I took Tyreek, then Jacob’s at the end of the second. Pittman, McBride, A Richardson, and Mostert rounded out my fist 6 and I kept Nico in the 12th so I felt pretty good. I grabbed Marshawn Lloyd around the 11th. I feel like we know who Dillon is, but on the off chance that Jacob’s lost some juice I feel like Lloyd is probably the one who gains. Also, I was able to get Spears and BRob pretty late to shore up some rb depth, as well as Nabers (who fell pretty far in my league) Curtis Samuel and Jordan Addison. I also grabbed Dak in like the 14th (no idea why he fell so far either)

Here’s the thing with jacobs. The best sign of a player breaking down is not age. It’s a drop in efficiency. Age doesn’t mean as much as efficiency trends. Look at young guys like Gurley, David Johnson. Guys can fall quick. Jacob’s might be dust already.

By that logic you should have faded BOTH Montgomery and Saquon in 2022. Neither of which would have worked out well for you. Sometimes RB's break down, other times they're in an awful situation and are dealing with things we simply don't know about. This is a dream situation for Jacobs so as long as he's half competent he'll put up huge numbers. Especially early in the season with no Dillon or Lloyd.

Remember when Todd Gurley pooped the bed in his second season and went from 4.8 yards per game to 3 yards per game? I remember being like this guy is an awful RB. Then the next two seasons he set career highs. What was the difference between his first and second seasons? Jeff Fisher --> Sean Mcvay might be it. Or maybe he became dust and rose like a phoenix. Ignore coaching, QB, offensive line, and overall offensive situation at your own risk.
