Nice of you to give credit to Mr Atomic Shrimp :) Cool video! I suggest shopping at Aldi or Lidl for your next challenge, theyre often much cheaper. I also feel like it would be fair to say cooking oil and things like salt and pepper are not included in the challenge. I hope you try another cooking challenge! You could even try going to M&S or Waitrose with a similar budget and see how you get on!

Not necessarily, Aldi is good for certain things but a lot of it is just as expensive if not more so in some cases. The meat and stuff like that for example. Better off going to home bargains or somewhere. Everything is relatively cheap and they also regularly either have stuff on reduced going out of date, or they will reduce the price of something for reasons like the box is bent. It might only be 30p but 30p off a 90p item is good shtuff. Edit: Home Bargains, Quality Discounts, B&M for example work out trading deals with specific brands and non-exclusive brands. So you'll find top tier items at half the price, as well as bulk bought in to sell for lower. Dr Pepper 2L is 2 for £3, FOXs half coated biscuits are 79p-£1, whereas normally they're closer to £3 in Tesco. So take that and apply it to the veg etc and you can see how different the price range is. Those big Mccain french fry bags are £1.69, Tesco they're £4something

Cooking bacon fried, stir rice in + spices. Cheapest scoff ever, but I wouldn't do it forever! Small cans of sardines also come with their own fishy oil, and you can use that as free flavouring for dishes. And learning how to make hash browns with potatos+carrots+curry powder is very cheap and tasty - - SECRET TIP: Grate them into a cheesecloth then squeeze out alllll of the water, before frying, then squash them onto the frying pan. Let them get crispy with a little frying oil.

Hello Mole , your channel just popped up today out of nowhere . Perhaps it's because I'm a absolute massive Japanese female rock/metal music fan and Asian music and love learning about the culture . I have been out of work for 6 months but beings I'm older and worked for 45 years I love the me time :) . Your 6 meals you have cooked are what my mum and grandmother used to call " good old fashioned cooking ". Basic food with no Additives and all natural but very tasty and yummy . I too like cooking and country walking , when I saw you walking on the road at night it made me very worried for your safety , this happened to me a few months ago ( never again ) . If you do a long walk again always carry a water pouch , energy bars and a basic first aid kit , a reflective band around your body and walk on the side of on coming traffic . I will binge watch your other videos now :) . keep up the good work

Great work. I love budget videos, Mike (Atomic Shrimp) is very good at it. Food here is so expensive most of these items arnt possible. Cheapest meat would be $6-8. Lettuce would be a few dollars, bacon probably $6. I'm glad you made the bone broth. Sorry to hear you lost your job. I'll keep following. Getting condiment packs is very handy, foraging might be difficult in winter. With any spare cash try a build up a lil pantry. Thanks for the video.

From Aldi you can get the following: 1kg Chick drumsticks ~£2.00 1kg Rice ~£0.80 6x Eggs ~£1 That's £3.80 for all your carbs and protein needs - That can make 6 small meals You can spend more to add variety, seasoning, condiments, vegetables etc. but the core of what you need is very cheap - it just gets very boring over time :P also, I can get lazy. Tonight I made a curry & rice w/ chicken thighs, still have lots left over.
