Philippines riches is really in the hearts of Filipinos. Life here is very slow moving, relaxed atmosphere, not competing or digging deeper , it means take your time and you will get there. MUST BE PATIENT to find your happiness.

Waking up in the early morning while it was still cool was great. Listening to the birds and roosters was actually rather cool. You have to adjust to the heat. The temperature was often in the upper 90s and very humid in Metro - Manila in May and June. The lines are long, but sometimes, they will have special lines for senior citizens. I usually let my Filipina wife do the shopping with my help. She has been hassled a few times because she is with a foreigner, but she usually gets her senior discount if she stresses her point. Great video. I was surprised that you didn't mention health care outside of the major cities. Keep up the good work.

True. Underwear marked xl are not. I’ve even purchased tshirts in the bigger stores marked xxl which were too small. What’s strange about it is that there are many very large Filipinos. I’m just an averaged sized American. But I still love living in the Philippines.

Good video. Which Island or part of the Philippines do you reside in? Lastly, which in the USA are you from? I would also include the infrastructure as a con:the potholes everywhere, wires hanging down, brown outs in the provinces, water shortages in the provinces, and be careful when walking and always look down because the stray dogs use the bathroom everywhere!!! Lastly, whatever you do, do not I repeat under no circumstances drink the water from the tap in the Philippines, nor get ice in your drinks!!! Only drink bottled water like Summit or Nature’s Spring!!!

It’s the first 2 weeks of April and I have been comparing temperatures of Oregon and Philippines (Manila) each day. Low to High OR 28-42 Fahrenheit PH 80-98 Fahrenheit OR 34-48 Fahrenheit PH 74-97 Fahrenheit Most days for the Philippines it also said feels like (add 8) plus humidity lol On one particular day it said the temp was 98 feels like 106 and it was RAINING! 😮 Seriously! You need to check the weather for each area individually just like in the US. Florida vs Michigan in February is a good example.

@Ericandcindysadventures
@Ericandcindysadventures Жыл бұрын
Hello Bro! I don’t think they will attack the Philippines because the US already has began to re establish military bases here. However, if they do I would consider moving to a nearby country like Vietnam or Thailand.

Low cost of living if you earn USDollars or Euro. High unsolved crimes. High poverty rates, so high property crimes.

If you check stats for different areas in both the USA and Philippines you will be surprised. Also, common sense goes a long ways no matter where you are. Something I noticed in several countries while in Asia was the absence of drugs and the related crimes. I spent an equal amount of time in cities and rural areas and rarely did I feel at risk in any way especially in the Philippines. Also, the definition of poverty is different in most countries outside of the west.
