!! i cant believe i never thought to use the ironing board that way, you are awesome. i travel a lot and cant stand eating all the fast food garbage. some hotels let you rent an induction stove, i got myself one, and a small rubber tub for all my basic cooking stuff. we do a lot of fresh salads, i keep the chopped veggies in baggies and use them for snacks too. we also do basic seared meat on the induction stove. lots of fresh fruit.

During TMLP weekends, Andrew and I would ask room service to bring us bowls, plates & cutlery. We'd heat up water in the coffee maker for cup of noodle soups (make sure there isn't any coffee pods in there first! haha) and for oatmeal. Some places even allowed us to request a second fridge if it was too small or a roommate also needed space to keep items cold. I love this video! Never thought of using an iron!
@travelingpetitegirl5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Lisa! I would do the same to make oatmeal during TMLP weekends! Then my boyfriend showed me what he does when he's on work trips so I upped the ante by adding an iron in the picture. I hope you get to use an iron on your future trips!

in Japan you can buy at 7/11 stores if you want eat healthy, cheap meals...sandwiches is only a little more than 1 dollor...you can have a lot of choices too!

Yes! In Japan, the food at the convenient store is really good so it's really great for people who are busy. They are so affordable too like you said
@Flagrant_Violations4 жыл бұрын
Yeah asian 7/11 and some of the corner stores/ready to go take aways are something else compared to the us. You can’t get duck anything anywhere in the us practically. You will no exaggeration literally die or become severely ill in the us if you eat that stuff from a corner store or 7/11 etc. the premade meals even at target etc have so much sodium it will literally shorten your lifespan. There have been studies. Us quality of living is like a war torn 3rd world in a lot of respects. Help.

Every person has the option to eat in, eat out or do both but this video gives viewers options for those who would prefer to stay in- especially at a temporary stay where they wouldn't make these meals every day. If you want to learn how to eat healthy & save money, feel free to search "cheap and healthy recipes" in the search bar.
