Relationships are doomed before they really get started. People seem to skip the vetting process all together. They also carry old baggage into new relationships expecting the partner to work 'magic.' Women don't seem to realize the power they possess in relationships. If they would just work on being a wife before they become one, they will attract a husband worthy of the work they've put in.

Totally agree! culture has reduced our influence to a sexual one! The Bible says to leave your mother and father and be one with your husband! We take that literally and leave it at moving in with our spouse. But we don’t “leave” in a sense of leaving parental trauma that many carry all their lives if they aren’t intentional in healing!

We are being led by females so we are being taught how to please the women.... We've lost our identity, because a lack of masculine role models and dominant males.... These qualities with a godly character would make the awesome man... But we are not being taught that enough... The reality is most of us just don't know who we are to be... I'm learning to allow my husband to lead. I have a tendency to be more masculine in taking the initiative because I'm more spiritual than my husband is.
