There's only one thing I love in The Cursed Child and it’s Hagrid who said, when he brought baby Harry from the Godric’s Hollow, “I’m Rubeus Hagrid. And I’m gonna be yer friend whether yeh like it or not.”

Another one I liked was when Scorpius reaches a 60 year old Snape while time travelling. When someone asks Scorpius what Snape would be doing in the time he came from, Snape commented ‘I’d be dead, I presume. You look a bit too surprised to see me. How?’ Scorpius told him that he sacrificed his life for Harry, and was murdered by Voldemort. Upon hearing this, Snape just says what Snape would- ‘how very irritating.’ 😂

No, wait, guys I have an explanation for all of this!!: 1. Cedric Diggory became a Death Eater in another universe in which he became humiliated in the 1st or 2nd task (I don't really remember) in the Triwizard Tournament because of Albus and Scorpius, so he decides to become a Death Eater and then he kills Neville, and if Neville is dead, no one kills Nagini, so Nagini is alive, and Voldemort comes back because she is a Horcrux. 2. Harry was NOT an awful father! He just thought so because Albus was 'different' from all the other Potters *(being a Slytherin, bad at Quidditch, and friends with a Malfoy and not really interactive with his Weasley cousins)* and wouldn't get along which made Harry think himself as a bad father towards him which he is not. But actually, Harry is just blinded by love and wants the best for Albus. And anyways I see no problems between him and Lily and James so I really wouldn't blame Harry at this point because he tried so many times to get to Albus and talk to him but it's Albus who was discouraging Harry. 3. Ron wasn't acting dumb or cracking jokes; he just continued the path which Fred and George started by continuing Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. But I honestly won't deny that he can be a bit un-concerned at troubling times, and he could do with a bit of seriousness. BUT - he was not dumb. He was a great Uncle. 4. Honestly I don't blame you at this point. He did want immortality... but no one's told me he wanted a child... 5. Maybe there was one and nobody noticed or saw it? 6. Albus overheard Harry's convo with Amos. Meaning he wanted to resurrect Cedric, and created an alternate timeline with Scorpius (Draco Malfoy's son) and Cedric stayed alive. My guess is although he is a Hufflepuff (everyone feels jealous sometime) jealousy got the best of him, and to get revenge he killed Neville Longbottom and became a Death Eater.

What killed it for me was all the Harry-bashing. He would never say “I wish you weren’t my son” to Albus- nor would he ever go there with McGonnagall by telling her “[she doesn’t] have children”, knowing her backstory that was uncharacteristically mean. And why did they make him turn into another Dumbledore and also be a terrible father? That, and the rumor of Scorpius being a Riddle was just RIDICULOUS. Even Magical Britain isn’t so dumb that 95% of them would somehow take such a claim seriously to the point that he’d be condemned to a lifetime of teasing and distrust, he has a nose and is only the spitting image of his dad Draco. (And speaking of Voldy, he did NOT get busy.
