If I hadn't holidayed in the UK then I wouldn't have gone to the New Forest and that would have been such a shame because it's the best ever undiscovered holiday & travel destination. It really does have it all. It's got beach, it's got sea, it's got forest, it's got wildlife, it's got activities galore (think cycling, hiking, paddle boarding, canoeing), it's got history (think Hurst Castle built by Henry V111th) and it's got EMPTY BEACHES nobody's ever heard of. Wow that place looks beautiful Jo, especially the first beach. Is the stand up paddle board hard to learn? We are heading in to the warm weather here now in oz and I’m tempted to give it a try.

Hi Paul, I know, those near deserted beaches were an unexpected discovery - quiet even on a hot day. The paddle boarding is harder than you think - it requires a lot of core tummy muscle strength. Doing it on the sea is much harder than on a lake. I've done it on both. On the lake it's super easy, on a choppy sea, much less so!!
