My grandmother was my only supportive relative everyone else "not so much" I'm not trying to let it bother me anymore but it's hard when the same people from your past keep doing the very thing you forgave them for and continue to cause destructiveness in your life after you tell them we're not doing this anymore but it's tough when the other person believes they're always right and communication forget about it you'd get more out of talking to a brick wall than you would the person. I have learned alot since my grandmother died however my anger isn't anger anymore it's disappointment and hurt at this point because my family doesn't respect me yet expect me to respect them no matter how bad their decisions are but enough is enough at this point I can't do this anymore looking for something new to do this year whether it's learning a new skill or a new language whatever I'm not going to sit around feeling sorry for myself any longer God bless you all ❤

Me too. And I'm 57. It is because we are the chosen ones who went after God and this made the devil mad and family members mock us and be jealous of us. No matter how much love and support I've given, they've only been disloyal, back stabbing, cruel and abusive. The Lord told me to let them go 4 years ago. I lost my daughter in a car accident i believe was caused by her narc boyfriend. Many years later when my son is struggling in his life a sociopathic woman forces are way into my home manipulates my son and turns him completely against me with very very horrible abuse towards me. I have to evict them to get them out of the house and stop the cycle of abuse. I am completely devastated beyond all measure. I feel I've lost both of my children. My only two daughters they are narcissists. I have had verbal attacks, gaslighted, etc. I don't give them the opportunity to explain myself to them because I know what spirit is operating in their life. I keep silent and don't share my plans. I keep them in suspended. I have peace, and I have surrendered them to God and ask God to deal with them. They are not close to the Lord, but that is their choice. I am content with my life and have peace in my heart. I have stopped crying for not having that close relationship with them in their teens. I am happy with myself and my friends 😅

In the family I was born into spoken harsh words, neglected, and experience physical and emotional distress in abuse. I believe God’s presence is with me. Then my grown children become disrespectful, speaking harshly to me. One of them in a toxic relationship with children. Going to visit begin to take a toll on me and then I begin to distance myself from them. Now I’m at peace and confident, God’s love. Seeing a new heart He’s been working on to making I anew.

I came from a big family!! My whole entire life I have always felt like I was the one who was outside looking in!! I was the black sheep in my family and the poorest!! My mom had her favorite and I wasn't one of them!! I was called names growing up because I wasn't very smart in school and struggled in school..I wasn't the prettiest I was very homely looking and my mom would let me know and always said to me why can't you be as pretty and smart like your other sisters!! I'm 66 yrs old I have 3 daughters and I know they love me but at times they seem to feel it's ok to talk down to me!! Even though my mom was ugly to me growing up I still love her and still have respect for her!! I pray in time my own children will come around and do the same for me!! Feeling sad and lonely is a hard place to be in!! And if it wasn't God being by my side and allowing me to cry when I need to gets me through my day because his love is the only real love I've ever felt Amen ❤

The word NO is a very powerful anointed word especially toward those who have hurt you and still our thinking about putting a snare against you. When we pray our Abba intervenes and helps us. He has given me courage to stand up for what is right. The boundary stay because I know how my stepmother operates, she is very conniving.. I do not trust her I forgive her but I do not trust her I will never trust her again. She did this before and had hurt me by taking advantage of me.... Never again.. the boundaries stay. Until she shows me the fruit of repentance the boundaries are going to stay up.

My heart goes out for children who are really terrified to speak up about what is going on in a narcissist household, They are usually threatened to not talk To other relatives about the issue or even a in school therapist, even though my stepmother force me to see it in school therapist,, what good did it do? What I told the therapist went right back to the parents,, I pity the abused children because there are no protection for children under the age of 18. They are at their parents Mercy, just like JonBenet Ramsey was at her parents Mercy,, they killed her! I feel that social services is a failing criminalized organization operation who hires the criminally insaned to program children to become criminals just like the people that social services hired to do the job. I feel that social services does not do a very good job giving background checks to adults before placing children with a stranger that that child knows nothing about. Yes you anyone ever gets pregnant and they have a trustworthy adult who loves children get the baby to that trustworthy adult, don't give it up social services, I don't trust them as far as I can throw them, I was also in the system, foster homes were bad, etc,, it's sad. The Jezebel spirit is everywhere unfortunately. Messing around with the system. That is why people like us need to stand up for the children who do not have a voice because they are terrified to use it because they are terrified they're going to get beaten or neglected

Yes a very dysfunctional family! Lost my mom in Juky and also my dad a few years ago. Both were dysfunctional. One an alcoholic, verbally abusive, aloof, distant at times, then silly, stupid. The other played the victim and became bitter, resentful and nasty! Just drama, no compliments, encouragement or affection.....dealing with a brother dealing with the unfinished business from both of them. Just nightmare and pulling teeth!
