YOGA for Unity and Well-being - 100-day towards IDY 2021" is a
comprehensive Yoga program ready will be launched on 14th of March
with contribution & collaborations from AYUSH, SVYASA,
Patanjali, AUI (Associations of Indian Universities), with Shri Ram
Chandra Mission. The United Nations has also joined the effort to
promote this program.
Starting from 14th March through 21st June 2021, we will have the
program run for 100 days prior to the International Day of Yoga 2021
(IDY). On the 21st of June 2021, we will be celebrating IDY in a big way
for national and international guests and the 100 days, the initiative will
conclude with a participation certification ceremony.

Day 5 (19 March) * Pranayama Practices: A new prayer today; Kapalbhati Kriya, Breathing in abdomen, Breathing in chest, Breathing in and raising shoulders, Breathing in abdomen-chest-raisingshoulders, (Forgot technical names of these 4 breathing); Nadi-shodhan Pranayama; Brahmni Pranayam; Omkara; Prayer for peace & well-being for all; Heartfulness Meditation * Brahmni: Means honeybee. Hence, the humming sound of a honey-bee, while doing this pranayama. * Meditation experience: Just smiling at the foolishness of the mind, who likes to wander into random thoughts. Today, used the instruction, that the divine light inside the heart is attracting the mind, as the central cue, and kept repeating this to myself gently, and naturally leading to me smiling, as the mind wandered. A slight change from my Day3's Meditation, in which I focused on counting heartbeat. I think, I was limiting myself to my heartbeat, rather than focusing on something more deeper, the divine light inside the heart! Please add any practice which I might have forgotten. If possible, can someone please share the names of those breathings, which I've forgotten. Just sharing my Experience and info journal over here! :-)

The sequential method of pranayama regulating breathing and guided relaxation and meditation are having exponential complementary influence over each other lifting ones consciousness without much mental efforts

At around 20 mins into the meditation, my legs got numb.. any suggestions for sitting position to avoid ankle pain and leg cramps?

नमस्कार. पातञ्जल योगसूत्रांप्रमाणे,साधनपाद सूत्र २८योगाङ्गानष्ठानादशुद्धिक्षये ज्ञानदीप्तिरविवेकख्याते:| असे सांगून पुढे २९व्या सूत्रात यमनियमासनप्राणायामप्रत्याहारधारणाध्यानसमादयो$ष्टावङ्गानि| असे सूत्र दिले आहे.आपल्या ब्रह्मविद्येच्या उपरोक्त प्रस्तावनेमध्ये इतर सात अङ्गांविषयी काही माहिती आढळली नाही.प्राणायामाविषयी सुद्धा सविस्तर माहिती अपेक्षित आहे. केवळ प्राणायामाने इतर सात अङे साधू शकतात का?आणि अष्टाङ्ग योगाच्या अगोदरच्या सूत्रात दिलेल्या हेतूच्या साध्यते विषयी काय?
