For those who already have Ganyu, you can skip Shenhe step if you like. Ganyu is also a good sub-dps for Ayaka and in cases with many enemies can be even better than Shenhe (c0). Ganyu's burst is very strong and she can buff a bit as well

Kind of. That is true on most monsters, however, for bosses, I don't think it makes much of a difference, since you are trading the elemental dmg bonus from Mist with 1 second of Mona's Omen, or something like that, which in the end is about the same.

For the end game final l team I highly recommend Ayaka + Shenhe + Kazuha + Kokomi. Those characters all synergize super well with each other and make playing that rotation super easy.

It’s just normal Atk. The sword’s buffs come from using an elemental normal attack, having less than 100% energy, and casting an elemental burst.

Reasonable comment ☝️I’ve tried this rotation first and ended that I want to refresh VV res decrease faster. Ayaka’s rotations quiet complicated with all buffs and debuffs refresh in the middle of rotation. Without Shenhe I would definetly went for Sprint+N1+Burst.

Ayaka is very strong even as f2p. This is just trying to give max potential for her. She doesn't need Shenhe. Although you will have a hard time doing freeze team if you don't have either Mona or Kokomi. Those 2 are her most important teammate

I used to clear abyss with Amenoma Ayaka at c0 and 4 stars back in 2.2/2.3 you don't need to worry about getting those premium 5 stars to make her work but at the end you might get them anyway since they are pretty common in other teams, Shenhe being the most replaceable one.

If i wasn't saving for Nahida I would definitely hard invest into Ayaka by getting MS or Shenhe (Well I lost my 50/50 on the weapon banner trying to get MS to skyward blade already so yeah...). I'm at the r2 Amenoma Diona Sucrose Mona Stage Lol. But I'm glad to know I wasn't crazy to think a 5 star anemo support was a MUST. Sucrose is clunky if your positioning isn't perfect. Great video btw. The rotation info and step by step upgrade guide were definitely well done. This videos more to the point and accessible than some of the long time theory crafters'.

@@megumi90 not anyone just ayaka and ganyu lol. Nahida can buff any electro hydro and pyro character, she has hyperbloom, bloom, aggravate and every other dendro reaction to her favor. I'm not saying shenhe is bad, but I have her and nahida and I think it's better to get nahida first then shenhe. Because yes she can buff your ayaka but with nahida you have the option to play many easy-to-build teams that do incredibly good dmg

nahida fits a lot of roles (buffs em, best dendro applicator, she does good dmg without the need of lots of investment) and she's FLEXIBLE, yes shenhe will make your ayaka hit hard but you also need to remember that abyss has 2 halves and nahida will work for the non ayaka team

the way these steps were accurate LMAO. In my case i needed another dps after hu tao so i pulled ayaka and got amenoma. getting a team was hard then since i only had a few 5 stars but ended up doing mona diona and sucrose. saw ayato so i swapped mona out but hated the comp, but then i also got mistplitter. Got Kazuha so sucrose got subbed off and finally kokomi rerun. swapped kokomi for ayato and rosaria for diona. hoping to get shenhe bc this has been a pain Lmao

Nice to see someone else whose first 5* was/is Ayaka. In order to get a bit more damage even, after you gave your ayaka Mistsplitter you should have done sprint into N1 and burst in order to benefit from Mistsplitters passive I personally started playing during her last rerun and until this day I'm not done completing or rather perfecting her build. For those who wonder mine is currently C0R1, 2.5k ATK, 42.1CR, 243.7CD while having 129.4ER

You're missing the E before the burst for the cryo DMG bonus. Ayaka's burst snapshots so you want to apply buffs before. You are also missing a normal attack for the third stack of Mistsplitter before you cast the burst.

No, mistplitter is far better, if you want to know why, you can watch tenten’s video that he uploaded like 2 days ago where he compares rosaria and shenhe. Tldr: rosaria and shenhe are equal in strenght but shenhe is a bit better in single target. So going for a 5star that is basically the same power level as a 4star makes no sense over a 25-40% dps increase that mistsplitter can provide

You can clear with well built 4 stars too. The thing with this video and specific team comp is that it requires pretty specific characters who happen to be 5 stars. Especially when it comes to hydro application. Barbruh is meh, XQ and Yelan have clunky freeze uptime and are single target. So you are left with Kokomi and Mona as the best and only real viable options. When it comes to anemo grouping is important in this team so Jean is clunky as well and sucrose even though a bit better is still not close to Kazuha or Venti. It is an expensive team but not all teams are like that. Spiral can be cleared with cheap 4 star setups

@@martinozmen7894 I mean yes but I haven't been able to clean this one properly with 9 stars 6 stars only when previous abyss was a joke it's more about my roster of characters this abyss require a various pull of specific characters so it's more annoying than difficult, first part require 1 pyro with an anemo or 2 pyro at least and 2nd part Ditto but with Cryo not many people have the pull to do that it's not said to be the hardest abyss yet for no reason.

Please don't forget that you can clear a chamber and get 3 stars with one specific team and then restart the Abyss to readjust your teams in order to clear the next chambers according to what you may need ignoring the timer on the past chambers.

This video was the most helpful of all genshin videos I have seen this far, thanks so much for uploading :-) My thoughts: 1. using the best available weapon should really be wrapped in step 1, not really a choice here. Still interesting to see what I miss out on, though, with the mistsplitter. 2. In case freezing is not an option or not necessary, you can also go the melt team route: I get similar buffs to Ayakas burst through the pyro resonance and benett's burst, even taking into account the 20% freeze crit rate loss from 4pc blizzard strayer. But if freezing isn't an option anyway.... And of course you gain extra damage through the second pyro character, Xiangling in my case.

Just the 4 star supports are enough, Diona, Sucrose, Rosaria and Barbara were my staple team for a year and they were crushing the abyssal spiral flr 12th the whole year long. The only reason you need 5 stars supports for Ayaka is when you are completely head over heels in love with her. LOL and yes most players with all these 5 star supports specifically FOR Ayaka are most definitely Ayaka mains. Why else would a person invest this much into 1 character, right? 😆 Don’t be too intimidated by the info, she didn’t need al those 5 stars support to be great. Although, if you want to experience Ayaka’s full potential, you can definitely go above and beyond. I’m an Ayaka main, I love her so much. Invested everything in her and now my Ayaka burst is at 63k per tick, her E is at 85K with food and full buff she went over to 77k per tick and 120k for her E. These are not melt damage just cryo alone and she can still even be better~ And that’s my girl ❤

I remember my first time playing Ayaka I was able to 36 Star Abyss with Ayaka Team without using another 5 Star Character. If you ask me, Freeze Team is one of the cheapest Abyss team you can make. Quick question I only play Genshin for abyss cuz Im ar 60 and play for late game content ( I don`t need more champions and I can 36* abyss already with all of my characters ) but I have some spare primos and I wanted to use them , what should I do : 1. Should I Pull for Ayaka and if I have any primos left maybe Shenhe ? 2. Should I pull for Raiden c2 ? ( I have Raiden at c1 ) 3. Who should I pull for if not any of this options ?

I dont have mistsplitter, but I do have ayaka + jade, shenhe + calamity, kokomi, venti and mona, all well builded, but my dmg is never above 17k, I took off seal of insulation from mona and gave her noblesse + prototype, I gave milelith for kokomi + dragon, diona has sacrificial and milelith, all of them 8/8/8 at least (ayaka 10/9/10 54 rate 243 dmg) all of them lvl 90 and I absolutely can not make more than 17k burst damage 😢

I have cleared abyss with freeze ayaka and I can proudly say that you don't nee the mistsplitter on her my team consist of Ayaka, Shenhe, Kokomi and Venti I recommend this team more than using kazuha and mona as per it is more consistent and reliable than those two first: kazuha might give you overall damage but the grouping is not that reliable compared to what venti can do, you can simply start the floor and use venti's burst immediately to get all the enemies inside the domain/abyss, especially those ranged ones as they back up if you go too close to them, but if you use kazuha, the grouping is not going to be wider second: same as kazuha's case, mona will sure give you more damage boost but then again, the hydro application will not be enough for grouped enemies as the skill last too short, you can argue that you'll infuse the hydro to the anemo burst so you'll have a pseudo hydro application, but this is not going to be reliable because the anemo infusion have it's priorities, I personally don't know what are the priorities but knowing this, it is much more easier and reliable to have someone with longer hydro application duration + kokomi can have 100% skill uptime with using her burst while the jellyfish is still up causing it's duration to refresh, with her skill duration at 12 seconds and cd at 20, you'll effectively get 24 seconds of skilluptime leaving you with 2 seconds room for error for using burst before the jellyfish swims away and enough time to recast skill for additional 12seconds and by that time you're burst is now refreshed and can be used again(not that it would be relevant as enemies rarely live after 1-2 rotations) and you'll have a safety net for taking damage if the enemies got a hit on you or using kokomi to facetank a hit during a certain situation with high hp pool my ayaka have 4pc blizzard + R1 lvl 90 BP sword (I have amenoma on her before) with 59cr(+40 from blizzard and +15 on resonance, I'll have 114% critrate) and 206.5cd - 120+%er kokomi with clam set(not even tenacity) and ttds - 120+% er shenhe with 2 2pcs atk artifacts and favlance - 3068 ATK - 150+%er venti with vv and favbow - 250+%er this team have no energy issues even at low er except venti because of the abundance of dead enemies and 2 fav weapons mind that I build my characters not to just function at one team but also to function in general situations

I've a question. I've Ayaka with Mistsplitter and I usually play her with Shenhe or Ganyu and Kazuha and Kokomi. Her atk is around 2200 and Cr/Cd are around 30/240 and I still do only 18k. I'm confused where I went wrong. I'm a f2p and to build her like this I had to sacrifice a lot of Banners

mistspitter is only a 5% buff from blackcliff in stat, however it passive increase the burst by 10%... as mention mistspitter high attack stat make the weapon useful in many (pre dendro) character... however post dendro, we are likely to see a shift from attack to EM... which is why alhaitham weapon trade attack value for crit damage, alhaitham attack base is only that of 4 star weapon, this ensure the light is not a substitution for mistspitter... shenhe build full attack can reach 4k in attack, but it is not worth to deny her energy regen in boss fight unless u are in open world and everything dies in one hit. shenhe and mistspitter are both minor improvement, but since they are mutliplier if you have both, it more than 1+1 = 2. for those that don't want to use mona, you could put TTDS on sucose instead of using kazuha or venti. this allow u to build a mono cryo super team with Ayaka, Burst Ganyu, Shenhe, Sucose... Ganyu only buff damage by 20% as compare to mona's 40%, but her burst benefit from Shenhe. it a niche build for fighting stuff that can't be frozen anyway. and u can shoot at the wenut rather than chasing it like a cat...

Anyone that want to build Ayaka just be ready to spent a lot of resource, the freeze mechanic in this game are lowkey ass, since there are no consistent off-field Hydro applier + Enemy that can't be freeze you just get knock out of whatever you are doing often. I say either Mona/Kokomi + Kazuha is necessary is you want to play freeze Ayaka and see that big number. And no you don't need to freaking Mistplitter F2P weap is completely fine, just require you have 80% perfect artifact :)

I've got Mona and Shenhe, is it reasonable to play Ayaka with Sucrose in place of Venti or Kaz? I'm relatively new, I've got one one Rev Melt team that works well, but I'm not super sure where to go next. (if it helps I have zero interest in getting/playing Nahida, despite knowing she's good. I don't like Dendro playstyle and I don't wanna main a toddler)

Step 1 got ayaka in 2.6 Step 2 already had mona as my 1st 5 star Step 3 already had venti as my 1st limited 5 star Step 4 ive been using rosaria and diona since 2.6 lol Step 5 i recently got mistsplitter Step 6 i recently got shenhe Step 7 i pulled 4 more cons this banner Step 8 i swapped mona for kokonut since i had from her last rerun Step 9 i replaced venti with kazoohoo since i got him in 2.8 Step 10 make multiple teams which i have ganyu with amos or elegy as sub dps, mona at c2 with ttds, venti with elegy, diona c6, rosaria c6 and hutao c1r1 for melt ayaka being the sub dps Step 11 i started in 2.6 Step 12 and most importantly im broke now :((

What i don't bother telling people during Trounce domain co-op - the reason why I use the skill during their cutscenes is not because I'm a dumbass, it's to collect energy particles and (back when I had amenoma) the sword passive seeds. And again, I wasn't doing CAs because I'm a dumbass, but because I have c1 ayaka.

Honestly, Shenhe was a waste of primos for me xD I could kill Wenut (and similar bosses) fast enough even without Shenhe and for everything else besides boss chambers I feel like Shenhe made my life harder. Freeze teams are currently a pain in the ass and mono cryo even more so. Hopefully they'll do something with freeze in Fontaine (like a dedicated freeze support hydro unit or something like that, or even better finally a fckn hydro shielder optimally with at least some sort of off-field hydro application).

I have all of this, I just don’t have the investment done. My artifacts aren’t there yet, my ayaka and mistsplitter are 80, everyone’s talents are 8 or lower, Shenhe is literally level 20 and had no artifacts, and I have bad noblesse stuff on Mona. Really bad. It’s gonna be a LONG time before I can run this team myself.

Stage 7: Build her for melt and keep it that way. Stage 8: Use Amenoma Kageuchi R1 instead of Mistsplitter Reforged R1, because seahorse boss in Spiral Abyss denies the energy and that makes you a sad sad panda.

if u think ayaka team is costly then ur jaw will drop if u cover xiao...he has one of if not the most costly teams ever, and unlike ayaka hes not diverse so u can only p much use that one team to make him shine. Which requires not only 5 stars like zhongli but c6 faruzan. everyone I know regrets pulling for him unless whale, but i dont know anyone who regrets ayaka. Also u can use rosaria or even diona instead of shenhe, succrose instead of venti...mona/kokomi the only ones u really need. And even then u could still make her work rlly well even if u dont have them like i currently am.
