Bailey, so glad to know there is finally an IOD stockist near me in Goldsboro, NC. You sure have a good start on your Fall stocking of your booths with these lovely projects. I, too, am constantly on the lookout for the old,round or oval frames with the contour glass, but don’t have much luck with that. Lol. I just found your channel today and I’ve binge watched all. I subscribed and rang that old bell to watch all future videos. GCR is one of my favorite KZbin channels to watch too. I was fortunate enough to fine a rather large old vintage plaster frame with the original bubble glass along the side of the road in a FREE pile. I made my husband stop the car and turn around for that one. I want to do the same with mine… but like so many other projects, I haven’t gotten to it yet.

I don't even know where to start! Every upcycle was better than the previous, but each one was fantastic. I can't decide on a favorite. All your projects are awesome, I love each one of them but my favourite is the mushroom picture. It is stunning, everything about it I love, even the colour of the frame. Wish I could get the IOD transfers, moulds and paint inlays. Oh well maybe one day. They are a lot more expensive in Australia than they are in the USA, same with the Cricut machines. My friend is an artist and has a framing shop. He showed me that using rubber cement makes the back of a framed piece look much more professional with the brown kraft paper. It creates a very flat smooth drum tight backing and is not lumpy. Use a craft knife to trace and cut the paper. Apply the rubber cement to th frames’ back then press the paper on the rubber cement. Then trim the edges within 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Ovals are a smidge trickier than straight lines for trimming where a straight edge can be used to guide the knife blade. Hope this helps. 😉
