6 Things to Do to Your Ego lm1903e-sp Battery Lawn Mower Before Lawn the Mowing Season
In this video, I share the 6 things I do to my Ego lm1903e-sp battery lawn mower to get it ready for lawn mowing season.
Check the battery level. Make sure the battery is fully charged before you start mowing.
Sharpen the blades. Dull blades will make it harder to mow your lawn and will also damage your grass.
Clean the deck. Remove any dirt, grass clippings, or debris from the deck before you start mowing.
Check the tires. Make sure the tires are properly inflated and that they are in good condition.
Lubricate the mower. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to lubricate the mower's moving parts.
Test the mower. Start the mower and let it run for a few minutes to make sure it is working properly.

Thanks for video. Nice to see everything! Recommended torque for blade bolt 36 - 43 ft-lb (50 - 60 Nm). If you have the duel blade model, the small bolts holding blades together 22 ft-lb (30Nm)

I know I was shocked when I contacted the dealer about it. Having to replace the whole gear box because of a worn £2 gear crazy.

As per a previous comment, did Ego oblige to correct the sprocket issue under warranty?

No but we only put it in to get fixed in the spring of this year's so any pro or domestic warranty had run out. The ego dealer did manage to replace the parts without having to replace the whole drive system so it was quite reasonable price.

I'm thinking of buying one of these but am now a bit concerned about the spare parts. I know that the new models come with a five year warranty, so how old is your mower as surely the drive sprocket would be replaced if failing within the five year warranty.

The bearings are rubber sealed so greased for life or the life span of the bearing. so they do not need greasing unless you unclip the actual seal it's self

The mower should have come with a warranty leaflet which has the website address on it if not search in "ego register warranty" and the page should come up fill in the form with details and you'll get a email confirmation.

Probably shouldn’t leave it outside to get rusty and dirty in the first place..

It not that I left it out over winter to get rusty that would have been stupid. I had to use it late in the autumn and winter when the weather conditions where not the best so inevitably it got a bit grubby.
