So glad I found this video. I am in a MLT program, and like you said, I've been doubting myself lately. I enjoy what I'm learning, but it is very difficult. Your words gave me motivation, and made me realize I'm not the only one who tends to not believe in themselves. Thank you!

This video was really helpful! Thank you for sharing! I'm in a MLS program now. I agree with you, I'm really not good at pipetting, but I love the microscope. Serological pipetting is getting the best of me right now. Some days I feel like I can't make it!! 😢😢
@ReaNav4 жыл бұрын
I had an anxiety problem when I was training and I would shake so bad when pipetting, I still do occasionally. But i made it out of the program, and found my niche. It is just hard right now since training requires you to do everything. 😅 But in the end it will all be worth it, just stay the course and study hard. Goodluck on everything! If i made it out, you will to! 😊

Yeah, it sucks at the beginning it takes a lot of hard work, but it will all be worth it in the end. From which country are you studying Clinical Science? If you don't mind me asking. I'm sure you will do great in your program. Goodluck! :)

I am gonna be interning next week and I honestly don't remember most of the things that I have studied for the past few months, I don't know if it's normal but I'm really worried. 🥺 The only thing that keep me going is that after I finish this, it's gonna be a new chapter and new challenges

Hello, I’m almost done with my clases for my undergrad for CLS. What is your advice on starting internship? My school does not pair you with internship program so I’ll have to apply on my own. Luckily, I work for Kaiser SoCal and May have a better chance for their internship program. Did you also worked during your internship? I have to keep working while internship, but I wonder if some internship can let you do it in the evenings or nights? Thanks in advance!

Hey!! I have a question I would really appreciate if you could answer it, is it possible for me to become and MT and afterwards go back to school and complete two more years and become an MLS? Thank you so much
@ReaNav4 жыл бұрын
Not sure if there are continuation programs, but during my class we had a couple of MT's and they just did the CLS program anyway which is 2 years. I think it is totally up to you and get in touch with the program you want to apply for so you can get specific information from them. Good luck!😊

If I had to choose between medical lab science and biomedical science what should I choose !?
@ReaNav4 жыл бұрын
I am on the process of editing my video on reasons why I chose CLS so stay tuned for that one if you want more insight about my career choice in Medical Lab Science. However I am not quite familiar about biomedical Science. So I can’t really give you a fair insight, to me I’m right where I’ve always wanted to be. I enjoy what I do. And I like being challenged (mentally) at work. In the end it is up to you and what you are really passionate about. 😊

Sis....Do intern earn?
@ReaNav4 жыл бұрын
Mine did not sis..😅 It was minimum wage when I did my internship. While other hospitals pay you as a working Lab Tech. But what really matters is how much they pay you as a licensed CLS (internship is just a year of hardship and being a CLS is years and years until you retire). It really depends on the hospital, and they are usually up front about it. 😊
